A woman feeling bloated after a sandwich took a pregnancy test as a joke and found out she was five months along.
Shocked Jasmin Miller, 24, bought a home test kit for a laugh when a snack left her feeling full.
Mum Erica joked she could be expecting and she has since given birth to first child Leighton three months after first finding out she was pregnant.
Jasmin said: "The reason I tested was the week prior, I was going to a concert, ate a sandwich and then blew up with bloat.
"I broke down immediately on seeing the tests and started bawling my eyes out.
"It didn't become a full reality until I arrived at the hospital and they quite literally said to me: 'You won't be leaving the hospital with the baby inside of you'."
Before she found out she was pregnant, Jasmin from San Diego, California, USA, did not have a period because she was on birth control pills and would skip the placebo week.
Jasmin said: "I had a boyfriend that was not super serious and 100% neither of us were ready to start a family.

"I remember one time he asked me if we could get a dog, and at the time my exact response was: 'A dog? That's like a 15 year commitment, what are we going to do? Ship it back and forth if we aren't together?'"
Jasmin said she went to a Billie Eilish concert and became extremely bloated after eating a tomato sandwich.
She added: "My mum jokingly said I looked pregnant based on where the bloat was. She was joking but said I should take a test just in case."

Jasmin and a friend went to a pharmacy and picked up two pregnancy test to take as a joke and to ease her mum Erica's mind.
When the first one came up positive, she took another three and they all came back with the same result.
Jasmin said: "I was freaking out, had no clue what to do.
"She (my mum) told me she was sad because she knew how hard it would be for me as she was a young single mom at 24 too.
"I hid my entire pregnancy from the world, because I was scared of being judged by the people I knew in high school.
"It's so embarrassing when I look back that I let those people prevent me from fully celebrating such a special time in life."
Daughter Leighton was born at 32 weeks weighing just 3lb 14.6oz, and spent two months in the neonatal intensive care unit, but she has since grown into a healthy and happy child.
