Victoria has recorded four new positive COVID-19 cases as Melbourne prepares for restrictions to ease.

There were no new cases in hotel quarantine and there are now 78 active cases in the state.

The state administered 20,784 doses of coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday taking the total number of state-administered doses to 725,049.

The figures come after health authorities added 22 new exposure windows at Arcare Maidstone aged care and four new locations in Melbourne’s north late on Wednesday.

Arcare Maidstone’s new listings, all tier 1, are linked to the facility’s Magnolia Unit and the communal facilities area all day and night from May 27 to June 5 and again on May 26 from 7am to 11.59pm.

The BP in Thomastown was added as a tier 2 exposure site from 6pm to 6.30pm on June 7, as was Bunnings Thomastown from 6pm to 6.30pm on June 8.
