Moon landings: Why Russia ‘may not have outed’ NASA hoax
Russia announced that their Luna-25 spacecraft, which was launched earlier this month, experienced a crash into the moon.
According to Russia’s space corporation Roskosmos, the unmanned robot lander collided with the moon due to entering an uncontrolled orbit.
The incident follows a previous announcement of an “abnormal situation” that Russian specialists were investigating on the preceding Saturday.

Russia’s aspiration was for the robot to gather rock and dust samples for a span of a year subsequent to its anticipated touchdown at the moon’s southern pole on Monday.
But the space corporation disclosed that communication with the spacecraft was severed after encountering unspecified difficulties during the pre-landing orbit setup.
Roskosmos said in a statement: “The apparatus moved into an unpredictable orbit and ceased to exist as a result of a collision with the surface of the moon.”
