Kate Middleton had ‘perfect body’ and was nicknamed ‘Middlebum’ at school

Kate Middleton’s mischievous side saw her constant bearing of cheeks earn her the nickname ‘Middlebum’ for her boarding school antics, a new book has revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge maintained a good girl image by avoiding drink and drugs during boarding school life but it was her constant flashing of her backside that reportedly caught attention.

While speaking to The Sun, former classmate Jessica Hay said Kate was “addicted” to it and claims she was known to do it “no fewer than 90 times” a year.

During her time at school, Kate may not have had the fashion knowledge she has today but a former classmate has revealed the future Queen always had the “perfect body”.

When the Duchess of Cambridge first attended Marlborough College, she allegedly made few friends and spent most of her time in her dorm room at the boarding school.

Two years later the “awkward” schoolgirl, described by author Christopher Andersen, suddenly blossomed when she returned to the school in the autumn of 1998.

As reported in Andersen’s new book, 'Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan’, Kate’s friend and classmate Gemma Williamson said the future Queen looked good in everything she wore due to her “perfect body”.

She said Kate never “wore particularly fashionable or revealing clothes“ but “everything looked good on her because she had such a perfect body.”

According to royal author Katie Nicholl, Prince William first caught the eyes of his future wife years after she left the school when he played hockey against St Andrew's Prep, where she was studying, reports the Express.

The Duchess of Cambridge can now be seen attending events in the height of fashion wearing glamorous gowns for film premieres and smart dresses along with outfits fit for a future Queen.

However, earlier this year, Meghan Markle beat Kate to be crowned the ‘most iconic’ member of the Royal Family.

Global fashion brand PrettyLittleThing conducted the study by reviewing internet search volumes in the UK and US on both Kate and Meghan’s style.

The search history found Meghan's outfits had been looked up 148,550 times while second placed Kate had 145,400 searches.
