A driver nearly collided with a woman and her child after making the stupid decision to overtake a stopped car at a zebra crossing.
In shocking dashcam footage obtained by Manchester Evening News, a driver spots the mum at the crossing and slows down and stops so she and the kid can safely get over the road at 8.45am on Tuesday (November 2).
Moments before the woman and child reach the other side, an impatient driver in a red Nissan Micra overtakes the first car at the zebra crossing and misses the pedestrians by inches.
The mum makes a furious gesture as the car speeds off after the terrifying near-miss on Chew Valley Road in Greenfield.
John Reed, whose dashcam recorded the incident, said he reported the incident to Greater Manchester Police.
Anyone with information about the incident can report it to GMP by calling 101, or online at the force's website, using the reference number 966-18783-21-0606-VE.
This comes after shocking footage showed a female motorist rain down punches on another woman after she tried to overtake her.
In the clip, both women try to get into the same lane and then stop their cars to confront one another.
The woman in one car then punches the other one and throws her car keys to the ground so she has to scramble for them on thr ground before she can drive off.
And an NHS worker was left "sickened" when a furious person left a rude note on his car when he parked outside his house.
The anonymous note-writer asked the driver if he has Alzheimer's because he was parking outside his home and moaned he could never find a parking space after work.
