Police searching for man believed to be involved in ‘series of sex offenses’ at Fort Collins, Loveland coffee shops – The Denver Post

Fort Collins police are currently looking for a man believed to be involved in a “series of sex offenses” at coffee shops in Northern Colorado.

Over the past several weeks, both FCPS and the Loveland Police Department have received at least 12 separate reports from coffee shop employees that an unidentified suspect was allegedly masturbating outside of the store while appearing to watch female employees through a window, according to a FCPS Facebook post; the incidents all occurred during the early morning and at multiple locations throughout both Fort Collins and Loveland.

The suspect is described as approximately 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-5, 160 to 180 pounds and often wearing dark clothes, a ski-style mask and glasses.

FCPS is also working with local coffee shops to ensure employee safety and is “taking multiple steps to apprehend this suspect,” the post included. The department has asked that the community be “extra aware of their surroundings and call 911 immediately to report any criminal or suspicious activity.”

Loveland police were not able to provide any information Monday about specific incidents in the city.

Anyone with information regarding the incidents or who may know the identity of the suspect can contact FCPS Police Officer Dalton Brown at 970-416-2238. Residents can also contact Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868.
