Prince Harry was trying to tell Prince William that he “still loves him” during his trip back – but there is still tension between the brothers, royal experts have claimed.
After Prince Philip’s funeral, the two brothers were recorded walking together with Kate Middleton and catching.
The Duke of Sussex also spent time with his dad Prince Charles and met with the Queen twice, it has been claimed.
Body language expert Elaine Swann believes Harry was trying to send his brother a message after the ceremony.
She told US Weekly: "I cannot imagine those two brothers starting in that line and that [funeral] procession – going through what they went through as brothers and being as thick as thieves as they said before – and not speaking to one another until after the service.
"You recognise two siblings trying to pull it together. I think Harry was doing his best to say, 'Hey, you know, bro, we’re still here. I’m still here. I still love you.'
"And I believe William did his best to open his body language toward his brother."
However, there is still a distinct lack of trust between the pair, according to a family friend.
They told Vanity Fair: "William and other members of the family have some very strong feelings about some of the things Harry and Meghan said on Oprah and things need to be talked through, but this was not the occasion and everyone respected that.
"It’s going to take more than a wake to sort things out, but this is hopefully a start."
Another source claimed William is still "wary" of Harry and "needs to know he can trust" him.
Meghan Markle and Archie reportedly spoke to the Queen before the funeral.
The Duchess of Sussex was in regular contact with Harry and "knows this trip to England has been difficult for him," a source told People.
39-year-old Meghan stayed at their home in California, as she was advised not to travel due to her pregnancy.
