The Cambridges proved they're just like any other British family as they were spotted enjoying a classic pub lunch with no security in sight.
William and Kate tucked into burgers and chips with Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte on a picnic bench in the garden of the establishment in Norfolk yesterday.
A witness described how the scene played out like it would with any other family, and added that there was a touching moment when one of the kids burned their mouth on the hot food, with William quick to console them, The Sun reports.
The family looked ultra relaxed and casual as they dined while a black spaniel playfully trotted about.
Prince George was a far cry from his dapper appearance he displayed at the European Championships when he watched England play, alongside his dad.
He ditched the suit and tie and looked like any other eight-year-old boy in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, with messy hair. The rest of the clan were equally casual, with Kate and Charlotte sporting ponytails, the latter with her elbows on the table.
An onlooker told The Sun: “It was amazing to see how down-to-earth the family were. It would have been easy to miss them – and just assume they were any other family.
The witness added that the royals were laughing and chatting and 'clearly enjoying each other’s company.'
They continued: “They were eating outside, I suppose because it was easier for the children."
