RAF copy US military’s Putin dig by drawing gigantic ‘sky penis’

RAF pilots have been amusing themselves and others by drawing a gigantic sky penis off the North Sea coast.

The classic meat and two veg sketch was recreated in all its glory off shore between the northeast towns of Sunderland and Hartlepool, as the crew appeared to deliberately navigate their plane in a manner that would produce a funny phallus on a radar tracker.

One person posted the resulting image on Reddit after viewing it on the online flight tracker Flight Radar 24, accompanying it with a caption reading: "The RAF are drawing d**** next to Sunderland again."

The plane was recorded as having left the RAF's Oxfordshire base of Brize Norton before heading northbound and what happened next has been likened to a similar incident that saw a US military jet trace a penis-shaped radar path next to Russia's naval base at Tartus in Syria.

Reaction to the Reddit post, meanwhile, was mostly light-hearted with one user joking: "This is what you call d***ing around."

A second quipped: "That's a cocky move", while a third called for even more detail, declaring: "I'll be impressed when they can draw pubes on it."

This comes as an American plane was accused of humiliating and taunting Vladimir Putin just days before the start of his invasion of Ukraine earlier this year.

Eagle-eyed radar watchers again revealed the aircraft’s movements imprinted the shape of a penis in the sky next to the Kremlin’s Syrian base.

The KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refuelling plane had left the X-rated symbol as it soared through the air in February, while the Russian dictator was ordering troops to build up along the borders of Ukraine.

American military officials did not confirm whether the aircraft’s penis depiction was deliberate.
