A teen girl plunged to her death when she tried to retrieve her phone after taking a selfie from a rooftop.
CCTV around the four-storey building captured the horrifying moment the 15-year-old nearly landed on a man before she slammed into the ground.
Melike Gun Kanavuzlar slipped when she dropped her phone and lost her balance as she tried to retrieve it, which sent her plummeting through the air and falling from 40 feet above ground.

One onlooker picked up the phone on the floor seconds before the teenager fell to the concrete floor.
The man fled the scene in shock while a terrified dog barked as it ran along the road.
The tragedy took place in the town of Ortaca in the Mugla province in western Turkey.
Medical workers and police then tended to the seriously injured teen before she was taken to a state hospital in a critical condition, according to reports.
The 15-year-old was then transferred to an Intensive Care Unit in the city of Mugla where she fought for her life for 18 days before she died.
This was despite the greatest efforts of local doctors, according to reports.
The news of the tragic death of the young teen who had her entire life ahead of her has reportedly left both her family and her friends in shock.
Melike’s body was buried on Sunday, October 30.

A month ago, a British woman died from a tragic fall from a hotel balcony in Ibiza.
