A teen who has been accused of sexually assaulting and killing a 10-year-old girl was raised by a paedophile who boasted about his parenting skills.
The boy reportedly strangled Iliana "Lily" Peters to death and has been identified as a 14-year-old with the initials C.P.B.
Lily was last seen by her family members on Sunday (April 23), and disappeared while she made her way home from her aunt's house.
She was tragically discovered dead in a wooded area near a walking trail in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the following day.
It has been reported that the suspect is thought to be Lily's cousin however, police and prosecutors are yet to confirm the claim.
His father was found guilty of possession of child pornography in Wisconsin in 2016, reports The Sun.
Investigators discovered a number of explicit images of children located on the dad's phone, according to court documents and filings.
In his last Facebook post since his conviction, the father bragged about raising "a good man".
It read: "Alright for all the dip s***s who produce too many kids and don't work, the ones who have food stamps for 15 years and counting, free health care, heating assistance, day care, babysitting assistance, free phones with minutes, and housing assistance, then pull out cash for smokes, soda, and go out for a drink at the bar.
"You are disgusting. You have no real sense of work and reward. Don't look at me for anything, I'm too tired from working two jobs and raising my one child to be a good man!!!"
