A trio of thugs struck a woman in the head with a glass bottle in Greenwich Village this week before swiping her cell phone, authorities said.
The 40-year-old victim was on West 10th Street near Fifth Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday when the three young women approached her from behind and hit her with the bottle — sending her falling into a flower box, police said.
The suspects swiped an iPhone 11-Pro from the victim’s hand before taking off on West 10th Street, cops said.
The victim refused medical attention for a minor head injury.
Police believe all of the suspects are in their teens. One is around 150 pounds with a heavy build and around 5-foot-5. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black boots.
The second is described as 140 pounds with an athletic build. She is about 5-foot-8 and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with green words on the front, black sweatpants and black boots.
The third suspect had a medium build and was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.
