A woman was gang-raped and beaten to death with tree branches in a park by her attackers, police have said.
Kamare Lewis, 17, and Kevin Spencer, 15, are suspected of attacking Ee Lee who was found unconscious, bruised and undressed below the waist on September 16 2020.
Police believe the teenage thugs acted as part of a group of six males picked up on CCTV running from Washington Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the time of the attack, Fox6 Milwaukee reports.
Lewis and Spencer have each been charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide, as party to a crime and one count of first-degree sexual assault (great bodily harm), as party to a crime.
Lee was taken to hospital after "bystanders" reported her condition but died three days later on September 19 as a result of blunt force trauma to her head.
She is understood to have been dragged to the edge of the pond at the park where her attackers left her for dead.
Prosecutors said a witness gave a "detailed statement" about Lewis and Spencer beating Lee and who they forced into performing sex acts.
The witness added Lewis had a video on his phone of him and Spencer hitting Lee as she lay on the ground.

Another witness said he saw Lewis "hitting (Lee) with tree branches and punching her in the face" while Spencer also beat the victim.
After the beating, he said: "Spencer told Kamare to put her in the water and Kamare was dragging her to the water."
This witness said he received video of the incident recorded by Lewis through Facebook Messenger and later deleted it from his phone.
On January 12, the witness's mum told the police that her son "may have a video they would be interested in seeing in his old iPhone."

She said the video showed "two boys beating a lady," and "you could tell who they were," noting "a lot of other little kids standing around."
The woman said they received the video about two days after the incident, and she told her son to "get rid of the video because it doesn't have anything to do with him," adding that he should "stay away from Kamare Lewis".
Prosecutors said Spencer confessed to this witness that he and Lewis beat and raped Lee.
Lee's sister, Nancy told FOX6 News: "It hurts so bad, you know?
"It really hurts me. I just want justice for her. That’s all I want. She didn't deserve to die that way."
