A woman was allegedly raped by four men at a strip club after being asked to “try out” for a job.

West Midlands Police received a call from the sister of the victim, who reported that she had been raped at the Rocket Club in Birmingham last Sunday at around 5.30am.

The victim told police that a group of men had asked her to strip to "try out" for a position in the club before asking "how much she charged".

According to The Sun, the woman refused to strip as one man allegedly said she had "led him on".

The men continued to make advances on the woman, and she told police they were "all over her".

She was allegedly asked by the men to "get on top of them and grind".

The group then turned really physically as the woman was "pulled on top of them" and allegedly raped by at least two of them.

The woman managed to escape the group and left the club but was “concerned” for other women still in the Rocket Club.

Police have arrested on man on suspicion of rape who is currently on police bail.

West Midlands Police believe four men were involved in the attack.

The Rocket Club describes itself as a premier gentleman’s lounge featuring exotic dancers on stages and in private rooms for “personal dance experiences”.

The club also advertises opportunities for new dancers to “audition” every night.

The Rocket Club has had its license suspended following a meeting instigated by West Midlands Police following the incident.
