While you’re stuck in work and hoping for a smidgen of sunshine on your lunch break, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are swanning around like love’s young dream on a lavish European holiday.
We’ll just have to live vicariously through them, we suppose.
After initially playing it coy when it came to confirming their rekindled relationship, Bennifer are now blessing us with photo op after photo op as they spent time together in Europe.
On Tuesday, Jennifer, 52, and Ben, 48, were pictured linking arms and holding hands as they walked around Capri in Italy.
JLo was serving us casual glamour in a cropped white top teamed with frayed shorts, heels and a large sunhat, while a usually solemn Ben – dressed in a navy shirt and beige trousers – was snapped laughing and smiling as he enjoyed a date out with his girlfriend.
Capri is just the latest stop for Bennifer’s tour of love, with the couple having made pitstops in St Tropez and Monaco on their romantic and insanely expensive getaway on the super-yacht Valerie.
The €110,000,000 (£93m) yacht isn’t your average sailboat, featuring six decks, seven bedrooms, massage rooms, a Turkish bath and a steam room, a foot-long pool and a cinema.
Of course, JLo and Ben can make their own entertainment, and were seen recreating the video for Jennifer’s 2002 song Jenny From The Block on the yacht deck.
Argo star Ben was seeing patting his girlfriend’s bum, much like he did in the infamous video, which came out when the pair had started dating.
Ben and Jen initially got together in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli, and got engaged in November of that year.
However, days before they were due to get married in 2003, the couple called off the wedding due to excessive media attention, and split up in January 2004.
Since then, both stars have got married and had children – Ben shares three kids, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, nine with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, and Jennifer is mum to 13-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian with her former husband Marc Antony.
However, after Ben’s split from Ana de Armas and Jennifer’s break-up from fiancé Alex Rodriguez, the exes were reported to have reconnected.
And Jennifer made the Bennifer renaissance official when she celebrated her 52nd birthday by posting fire pictures of herself in a bikini to Instagram, followed by a snap of her kissing Ben.
Needless to say, showbiz lovers the world over have lost it, and we’re all impatiently waiting for awards season to return for this pair’s triumphant red carpet resurgence.
But until then, adorable holiday pictures will have to do.
