Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz cause a stir in their $500,00 vintage Jaguar as newlyweds visit a Los Angeles food market

Newlyweds Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz looked like every married couple on Sunday as they shopped for groceries at an LA farmer’s market.

The couple, who wed in April, kept a low profile, donning sunglasses for the outing, shortly before racing away in their $500,000 Jaguar.

A wedding gift from father-of-the-groom David, 47, the pair couldn’t help but turn heads as they returned with their purchases to the striking vintage motor.

His hair spiked in a youthful style, the chef accessorised the look with a long gold chain complete with circular charm.

Brooklyn carried the couple’s purchases in a plastic bag as he flaunted his heavily tattooed arms and neck.

The beauty displayed a freshly painted white manicure as well as her incredible diamond engagement and wedding rings.

The happy couple chatted as they meandered through the stalls with Brooklyn even playfully patting his wife’s bottom.

Father-of-the-groom David used the couple’s lavish wedding to gift the vintage sports car, promoting one of his post-football investments in the process.

The former Manchester United and England midfielder gave car restoration company Lunaz – in which he holds a 10 percent stake – a valuable assist by gifting his eldest son with one of their classic vehicles on the day, notable by virtue of the brand name and logo plastered across its number plate.

Beckham was seen behind the wheel of an electrified and re-engineered 1954 Jaguar XK140 following Brooklyn’s glamorous wedding, conducted within the cloistered sanctuary of Miami’s exclusive Palm Beach.

The retired footballer was joined by his wife Victoria, 47, with both also seen occupying the same $500,000 (£383,502) classic car ahead of their attendance at the marriage ceremony.

Business savvy Beckham is an investor of UK based restoration company Lunaz, having taken a 10 percent stake in the company in June 2021.

The vintage car – later gifted to Brooklyn and Nicola as they ventured out for a lavish brunch – was the product of thousands of hours of work from the company’s 120 strong team of craftspeople, designers and Electric Vehicle (EV) technicians and was built entirely in-house at the home of Lunaz in Silverstone, England.

The sustainable trend sees Lunaz tear out engines which pollute our atmosphere and replace them with zero exhaust emissions batteries and electric motors.

David Lorenz, Founder & CEO of Lunaz said: ‘In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.

‘This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.’

Car fan Beckham is one of a group of wealthy Lunaz investors that includes the Reuben Brothers, the Barclay Family and Alexander Dellal.

Referring to his investment last June, he said: ‘Lunaz represents the very best of British ingenuity in both technology and design. I was drawn to the company through their work restoring some of the most beautiful classic cars through upcycling and electrification.
