Brooklyn Beckham ‘looking for UK love nest to start a family with wife Nicola’

They’ve spent much of their relationship based in the States, but we can reveal Brooklyn Beckham and his new wife Nicola Peltz are house-hunting in the UK with the aim of dividing their time between here and the US.

The news has delighted Brooklyn’s mum Victoria, who wants her son, daughter-in-law and any future grandchildren closer to home.

“Brooklyn and Nicola are hoping to get a place over here and Victoria’s keen for them to be together more as a family because they’re so split up,” our source revealed.

"She can’t bear being so far away. The next chapter after the wedding is for them to hopefully start a family and Victoria wants to be a hands-on grandmother. Family will always come first for Victoria.

“They probably wouldn’t want to live here full-time, but if they have babies they do want them to grow up over here.”

In a bid to find their dream house, Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola, 27, have recently been in the UK.

They were even seen enjoying a night out with friends in a Wetherspoons pub, with Brooklyn joking how his new bride wasn’t “used to the English weather”.

News of their property search comes as the pair put their £9 million Los Angeles home, which they purchased last year, back on the market. A Stateside source said “it isn’t quite what they wanted”.

Brooklyn and heiress Nicola look to be following in the footsteps of Victoria, 48, and David, 47, who also split their time between the US and the UK. The couple own a home in the Cotswolds and an apartment in Miami, but their main base is in west London.

And Victoria and David hope Brooklyn and Nicola will keep any future offspring grounded. “David and Victoria did a great job of keeping Brooklyn modest and level-headed. He had a job in a coffee shop and they want to pass that on,” our source said.

Before Brooklyn and Nicola’s UK house hunt, Victoria opened up about how her life has changed now that Brooklyn, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 17, and Harper, 10, are growing up.

She revealed: “David and I have gone from having four kids at home to having one-and-a-half. Brooklyn and Nicola are going to be living between LA and Palm Beach [in Florida], Romeo’s living in Miami and Cruz is in between home and boarding school.”

While she admitted the family “love” being in Miami, Victoria continued: “But London is where I come to the office every day and where Harper goes to school.

"This year is a new chapter for my brand and for our family – but London is still home.”

Meanwhile, Victoria and David found themselves at the centre of an alleged stalking case earlier this month when a court heard how Sharon Bell, 58, claimed she was the biological mother of Harper.

Bell is also said to have visited the Beckhams’ homes and even turned up at Harper’s school after sending David a number of letters.

Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard how David felt “threatened and frightened” by Bell’s “targeted and intimidating” behaviour. The district judge ordered a psychiatric report.
