Calvin Harris and Vick Hope are married! DJ and Radio 1 star ‘tie the knot with star-studded Glastonbury-themed wedding’

Calvin Harris and Vick Hope married in a lavish Glastonbury-themed wedding on Saturday, according to reports.

The chart-topping DJ married the radio and TV star in an outdoor ceremony at Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland, before partying into the early hours, The Sun reports.

Nile Rodgers and Chic, who had been flown in from the US, performed at the raucous reception, starting their set with Luther Vandross’s 1981 song Never Too Much.

Calvin, 39, and Vick, 33, partied with their celeb pals, including Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu and BBC radio DJs Vernon Kay and Scott Mills and Vick’s Radio 1 co-presenter Jordan North.

An insider has revealed details of the couple’s romantic vows which included Calvin telling Vick: ‘I promise to be your teammate, best friend and companion for life’.

Vick told Calvin: ‘The pure, unadulterated euphoria I was seeking when we met? I found it instantly in you.’

Food stands were set up for the Glastonbury-themed after-party while teepees were dotted around the grounds alongside 80 lavish tents for guests to stay the night.

Hulne Priory is located in a walled park covering several thousand acres which belongs to the Duke of Northumberland and is close to Alnwick Castle.

The priory was a friary founded in 1240 and is a licensed wedding venue as well as playing host to live performances.

Representatives for the couple have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Just weeks ago, Vick enjoyed her boozy hen do as she partied with pals and even enjoyed a cheeky lap dance from some hunky men.

The radio star looked stunning in a white feathered mini dress in clips and glam snaps shared to social media.

For the hen do with her pals that they renamed her ‘hun do’ Vick enjoyed a swanky dinner at The Retreat Elcot Park in Newbury before a group of hunky men performed a strip tease as she giggled away and even gave one a playful spank on the bottom.

Calvin proposed to Vick with a huge diamond ring underneath a tree at his 138 acre Ibiza farm, Terra Masia after a five month romance.

But Vick recently revealed their love story actually goes all the way back to the early noughties when she was 19 – with the radio host rejecting Calvin’s advances when he was an up and coming DJ.

She said Calvin first made a move on her when he was enjoying his first flush of success with his hit Acceptable in the 80s back in 2007 – but she turned him down at the time.

‘It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now’, she told You Magazine.

Calvin went on to become one of the highest paid disk jockeys/producers, racking up an estimated £200-plus million fortune, with Vick previously admitting she was ‘shallow’ and had no idea he would turn into ‘an Adonis’.

As his global fame soared, the Scottish DJ was linked to a host of stars – from his relationship with Taylor Swift as well as rumours he had brief romances with Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora.

Last year the We Found Love hitmaker and Vick went public with their relationship at the Chelsea Flower Show, after keeping their relationship secret.

While Vick said she is keeping the details of her engagement private, she said it was a ‘very special moment’ and that ‘it was… perfect.’

The television star also spoke about why she has decided to keep her relationship with Calvin mostly private.

She said: ‘We don’t really put anything on social media because the time we have together is ‘real life’ and it’s our own. For the first time in a long time, I’m finishing work and going home to a life that is just mine. I’m learning to find balance and peace.’

When asked if entering a multi-million pound world has altered her perspective – especially as she didn’t have a wealthy background growing up, Vick remains focused on her own career – rather than riding off the curtails of Calvin’s success.

She said: ‘We both have very busy work schedules: I’ll join him when I can and then I come back for my work.’

Vick was jetting back and forth between Ibiza and the UK all summer to support her beau at his summer DJ season on the Island, while juggling her busy radio and TV schedule.

The happy couple split their time between Calvin’s 138 acre Ibiza farm and their London pad, and while Vick often follows her fiancé around the world for his DJ work, she admits she loves their ‘peaceful’ London life.

The private pair rarely speak about their romance but in a recent interview about her daily life with The Sunday Times, Vick revealed the secrets to their blissful life at home together in London.

Vick reveals the couple love to cook ‘nutritious’ food together in the evenings, with both sticking to an organic, vegetable-rich diet.

While their busy schedules mean they don’t sit down to eat until 9:30pm, Vick says she loves that they take the time to cook and eat together and talk.

Life with Calvin over the past year has shifted Vick’s priorities in life she admitted, explaining: ‘I’ve still got lots of career goals but now I also have strong aspirations in my personal life.’

‘I want to have a life that is peaceful and happy, surrounded by loved ones, and make time for them,’ she admits of her changing priorities.

‘These things were never high on my list of priorities before, but they have taken over now. That’s more important than being on the telly all the time.’
