A source told The Sun: ‘Chloe and James aren’t getting back together.
‘They were out for a friendly lunch while they still work out how to co-parent.
‘Just because they aren’t together, it doesn’t mean they won’t stay friendly.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for both Chloe and James for comment.

In a joint update shared to Instagram, the couple who had starred in their own ITV reality show Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair this year, announced: ‘Chloe and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.
‘We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.’
She added: ‘Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
‘Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.’
Sharing his own statement to Instagram, James added: ‘It’s with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done.
‘My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won’t be commenting any further.’
Last month, Chloe spoke publicly for the first time about her separation, with the television personality reflecting on the end of their five-year marriage after the subject was broached by a fan on social media.
After being asked whether ‘there was a chance’ they would get back together, she wrote: ‘James and I are not together anymore but we are determined to be the absolute best parents we can be to our amazing little girl.’

She later opened up further about the split and told how she was finally feeling ‘happy again’ after a difficult time.
Chloe took to Instagram to share snaps of herself in the gym and wrote about her split from James in a long caption.
She cryptically titled the post ‘a new chapter’ and revealed why she stopped posting about health and fitness, while she also touched upon her mental health struggles.
Chloe admitted the summer just before her split from James was the hardest of both of their lives in a candid caption.
In the post, Chloe told how doing anything apart from mothering her daughter Bodhi felt ‘impossible’ due to her ‘burn out’ over the past year.
She wrote: ‘I suppose I’ll title this post “Slowly but Surely Floating out of Depletion and Defeat”.
‘This post started as an explanation as to why I stopped posting about health and fitness for so long, but ended up somewhere different…
‘For starters, I should probably say that I still coach pretty much 7 days a week, online and PT, as well as having 2 health and fitness podcasts, so talking and writing about it is still the dominant factor of my day to day life and work.

He continued: ‘My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won’t be commenting any further’
‘And because of the above, it would be fair to say that the idea of coming onto social media and repeating the things I’d been talking about all day / week? Well, quite frankly, it felt impossible. There’s no other word for it. It felt impossible to me.
‘It crept up on me very slowly, in hindsight well over a year, but by the end of August of this year, I got pretty bad burn out.
‘Bodhi became my sole priority and source of joy, but beyond her, absolutely everything felt impossible.
‘And it makes sense, because in the space of 2 years I had moved across the country, bought, refurbished and furnished my first house, been reunited with a very busy social life, had a baby by emergency C-section, returned to work 8 weeks later, filmed a reality tv show, and began separating from my husband after what was, to be totally honest, the hardest summer of both of our lives.’
Chloe went on to candidly open about about her mental health struggles and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and told how she recently restarted therapy.
She cryptically said there were ‘other factors’ in her personal life over the past few months, which she said she would discuss ‘another time’, but told how she finally feels ‘good again’.
She went on: ‘I’ve had mental health battles before, being diagnosed with GAD in my early twenties, so I knew there was a problem bubbling under the surface and was quick to get myself back into therapy.

‘To be honest, there is more to this story and there were a number of factors that lead me back to where I am now (and have been since the end of October), but I’ll talk about them another time.
‘But for the first time in a very long time, I feel good again. I feel happy again. I feel strong again.’
‘It wasn’t the intention of this post, but now I’m reading it back, I really hope this gives somebody else hope. Hope that even when it feels like you have nothing left, that you’re irreparably broken, you can slowly put yourself back together again.
‘You will come back to yourself in time. Be patient with and be kind to yourself, and please keep going.’
