She wore her long brown hair down and slightly wavy and slipped her feet into a pair of black strappy stiletto-heeled sandals with sky-high heels.

And after that night, she played it cool and breezy.
‘I left him by himself for a while,’ Teigen told Cosmopolitan. ‘The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, “There’s so much more out there.” I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, “What are we?”‘

The photogenic pair got married at the courthouse in New York City before jetting off to Lake Como for their ‘official’ wedding.
In regards to the courthouse nuptials, Chrissy told E! News shortly after, ‘We actually got married after going to a couple Fashion Week shows at Vera Wang, ironically who actually did my dress, but we got married at the courthouse right after.’
‘We are dumb and didn’t realize that our Italian wedding would not be recognized unless we had a real ceremony in New York City,’ she continued.
Back then, Teigen also rocked various glam looks on her special day in Lake Como, changing into a series of Vera Wang gowns not only for the ceremony, but also the reception and after party.
Also at the 2013 nuptials, the Oscar winner serenaded her with All of Me, which he dedicated to her when he wrote it.
‘He writes a lot of love songs, but this one is specifically about me so it makes it more special. My Dad even cries when I play it for him in the car,’ Teigen gushed to People a few months before the lovebirds said ‘I do.’
In 2015, the happy couple later appeared on the cover of DuJour Magazine where they opened up about their plans to start a family.

However, the family experienced a tragic loss in 2020 when they lost their son, Jack. At the time, Teigen had revealed that she had experienced a miscarriage, but later explained that she had a ‘life-saving abortion.’

Legend has previously opened up about his relationship with Chrissy, and admitted on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast late last year that he ‘wasn’t a great partner’ in the early days.
‘I think I was more selfish then. I wasn’t a great partner at the beginning of our relationship. Even though I was very into her and very excited to be with her. I was still selfish.’
‘I was in my mid-20s, still not ready to fully be the committed partner that I am now,’ he explained.
‘When you stop being so selfish when you think about not only the joy you get from a situation and the pleasure you get from it, but also think about your responsibility and your commitment in that situation. You just grow, and you mature.’
