Chrissy Teigen shows off her dainty new elephant wrist tattoo in artsy snap… as she says she was the animal ‘in a previous life’
Chrissy Teigen shared a black and white image of her fresh new ink on Monday.
The cookbook author, 36, posted the photo to her Instagram page, where she’s followed by 36.8 million people.
In Thai script she wrote in the caption: ‘In a previous life I was an elephant.’

The photo showed a bit of the mom-of-two’s sweater sleeve as she held out the inside of her left arm to show the artwork.
Teigen tagged her Los Angeles tattoo source, Winter Stone, in the outtake.
Also visible were her very long rounded nails, which were manicured perfectly with small white hearts on two of them.
The post follows a recent video the public figure posted in her Stories right after she had the tattoo etched onto her skin.
Tatted up: In addition to the elephant tattoo, the former model has multiple others
In the snippet the model was heard asking her tattoo artist to make a few modifications to her piece.
‘Can you do high heels on its front two, no, its back two?’ she playfully asked.
Teigen previously showed off one of her tattoos with a post that was shared to her Instagram account this past June.
A flying butterfly was designed by her daughter Luna, five, and is located on the underside of one of her arms.
The model spoke about her tattoo during an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she told the show’s host that her daughter was very proud of her work.
She recalled: ‘Luna was drawing on us one night, and she was like, “I love this. This is the best butterfly I’ve ever drawn,” and I was like, “I agree.”‘

Teigen then said that her daughter also drew on her husband John Legend’s arm and he brought up the idea of making it permanent.
She stated: ‘And then she drew a beautiful floral bouquet on John’s arm, and he was like, “I’ll tattoo mine, if you tattoo yours,” and I was like, “Well, I don’t wanna say it, but yours looks a lot better than mine.”‘
The model pointed out that, although she followed through with the idea, her husband had yet to hold up his end of the deal.
She said: ‘He was like “I’ll take a picture of it and then I’ll go get it done.” Then I went and got mine done, and he never went and got his done!’
