Coco Austin has responded to people who have criticized her for letting her six-year-old daughter Chanel take a bath in their kitchen sink as she prepared to attend a Patricia Field fashion show.

The television personality, 43, posted a clip on TikTok and Instagram September 22 which showed the child, who she shares with husband Ice-T, 64, in a large sink while watching a tablet.

She captioned the shot: ‘Chanel’s 1st fashion show as a Prospector ..lol This was from an hour before getting ready…’

She was criticized by people who said that her daughter is too old to be bathed in the sink.

On Sunday, she shared a link to a story about the issue, tweeting, ‘Wow just Wow! Here we go again! Giving my lil girl a bath in the sink went Viral? SMH!’

She added: ‘People, you gotta know by now that I’m an unconventional mother. I do what works and is easier on me. Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!’

Ice-T said last autumn in an appearance on The View that ‘rule one on the Internet [is] do not pay attention to anything anyone says on the Internet.’

The mother and daughter were seen headed to a fashion show after the initial post 

Coco and Ice-T were snapped earlier this month at a charity event in NYC 

He added: ‘Worry about the people that walk up to you and say things in your real life. Those are the people you should be concerned with. The Internet is the world. It’s the world talking, so I don’t pay attention.’

In May, Austin caught some flak from online commenters when she shared a vacation shot from the Bahamas with Chanel in a stroller.

Austin said on social media in response, ‘Oh lord!! Really people? The world loves to criticize [literally] everything I do!’
