Dick Strawbridge, 61 and his wife Angel Adoree,42, have shared their plans to begin a partnership alongside Homebase, as they made the announcement on their Escape To The Chateau Instagram page over the weekend. The TV couple’s latest project is aimed at inspiring customers to fix, improve or transform their homes and gardens.
On Instagram, the post read: “Dick & Angel have a very exciting announcement for us.
“We’re incredibly excited to be able to share some of our ideas with you, alongside @homebase_uk.
“We know how important our homes are, so can’t wait to get stuck into projects, and to bring ideas and inspiration to life with you.
“It really is as simple as giving it a go!’ Follow the link in our story to find out more…” they added.
Underneath fans were ecstatic over the update, but some had thought the pair might have been making an announcement of a different kind.
One said: “Aw, I thought you were going to say you’re expecting. I’ll check out the range though.”
Another replied: “I was expecting a baby announcement then.”
A third commented: “Oh this is great news!”
While a fourth shared: “Amazing, love them!”
The partnership will see Dick and Angel create an eight-part content series created by Homebase, where the couple will inspire customers to make improvements around their homes, inside and out.
From up-cycling and organising indoors to building a raised bed in the garden, the series will give everyone the confidence and know-how to give these tasks a go.
It comes as Dick had shared on Twitter that the couple will be taking their Dare To Do It Tour on the road again in 2022, once all coronavirus restrictions have finally been lifted.
