The series is expected to feature Love Island alumni across the globe continuing their quest to find their dream partner, with MailOnline previously revealing that spoken-for stars could also made cameo appearances on the show.
It comes as Love Island prepares to battle it out for Best Reality Competition prize at the National Television Awards on Tuesday.

It’s set to be a must watch series, as some of fans’ favourite Islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again ‘graft’ as their search for love continues. I simply can’t wait!’
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller added: ‘After 10 ratings busting seasons of Love Island on ITV2, we’re delighted to be able to celebrate a decade of the number one dating show on television with the first ever series of Love Island: All Stars.
‘Set in our luxurious South African Villa, I know the audience will welcome back some of the most iconic UK Islanders, as they set out in pursuit of love all over again in a brand new version of our worldwide hit.’
Martin Oxley, Head of Formats and Entertainment at GroupM Motion Entertainment went onto say: ‘Motion is proud of its long partnership with Love Island, and can think of no better way to celebrate this milestone alongside Lifted and ITV than going on a date with our most-loved and longed-for Islanders.’
Legendary Islanders from former series will each attempt to find love once again as they crack on in a bid to couple up and avoid being dumped from the Island.
Relationships will be put to the test as bombshells enter and heads turn leaving some lovestruck hopefuls heartbroken in the ultimate quest for love.
As the couples explore their connections and attempt to win the hearts of each other and the nation, only one pair will be crowned the winners of Love Island: All Stars 2024.
It comes after viewers saw Sammy Root and Jess Harding crowned winners of Love Island’s summer series last month.
Surprise! Bosses have revealed that the spin-off series will hit screens in the New Year with famed former stars heading back to the villa (host Maya Jama is pictured)
This year’s final was the most watched programme for 16-34s on any channel and the series garnered 1.4 billion video views across all platforms, 56+ million likes on official Love Island content and over 1 million comments generated on all official Love Island content.
MailOnline exclusively revealed plans for the new All Stars series back in July, after it emerged bosses had axed Love Island’s winter series due to low ratings.
ITV bosses had hoped Maya Jama would pull back plummeting ratings from the winter series but despite the presenter’s popularity, the show filmed in South Africa failed to resonate with viewers on the same scale as it does during the summer.
In 2020, the first winter series aired but it was cancelled until this year when Maya took over the helm from former presenter Laura Whitmore.
A source revealed: ‘The winter series of Love Island has been axed for a second time… viewers just aren’t interested in watching the show twice a year.
‘It will be replaced by a brand new All Stars series, which will feature former Islanders who are still looking for love.
It’s back! The All Stars series will be filmed in South Africa, where the winter series took place, and is set to hit screens on ITV2 in the New Year
Exciting! The show was also announced on Love Island’s Instagram account, as they prepare to battle it out for Best Reality Competition prize at the National Television Awards on Tuesday
‘In terms of iconic Love Island stars who are now happily married including the likes of Olivia Attwood, producers are looking into cameo appearances so that they still involve fan favourites from the years gone by.’
Megan Barton-Hanson, 29, who rose to fame on the 2018 series, is believed to be taking part while Georgia Steel, 25, known for her catchphrase ‘I’m loyal’, is also high on the wish list.
Maura Higgins, 32, star of the 2019 series, was approached but has ruled herself due to now being in a relationship with Hollywood stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton.
She said: ‘I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no. I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.’
Which single stars could be heading back to the villa?
Love Island: All Stars will see some of the show’s most iconic stars heading back to the villa for a second chance to find love.
While some contestants have managed to find a dream partner, others are still single, and very ready to mingle.
So who could be heading back to the villa? MailOnline shares some predictions…
Coming soon: Megan Barton Hanson, is believed to be taking part in the All Stars series
Megan Barton-Hanson
Megan, who rose to fame on the 2018 series, is believed to be taking part, after an on/off romance with Demi Sims.
The star, who is openly bisexual, previously dated Wes Nelson after leaving the villa, before splitting in 2019.
Earlier this year it was also reported that Megan had rekindled her romance with ex James Locke.
Georgia Steel
Known for her ‘loyal’ catchphrase, Love Island 2018 star Georgia Steel is believed to be taking part in the All Stars show.
She was previously engaged to Ibiza Weekender star Callum Izzard, but they split in April 2020 after a whirlwind seven month romance.
Maura Higgins
Maura, star of the 2019 series, was approached but has ruled herself due to now being in a relationship with Hollywood stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton.
She said: ‘I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no. I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.’
After splitting from her villa beau Curtis Pritchard, Maura has been linked to hunks including Chris Taylor and Giovanni Pernice.
Blast from the past: Hannah Elizabeth starred in Love Island’s first series
Hannah Elizabeth
As a star of Love Island’s first ever series, Hannah endured a turbulent romance with beau Jon Clark.
The couple became engaged on the show, but within three months of leaving the villa, their relationship fell apart.
Hannah then got engaged to her longtime friend George Andreetti in 2018, but they split while she was heavily pregnant with their first child.
Kem Cetinay
Essex-born hairdresser Kem won the third series of Love Island in 2017 alongside girlfriend Amber Davies.
Sadly their romance wasn’t to be, and they split four months later.
He was previously dating legal trainee Lexi Hyzler, but they split in December 2020.
Theo Campbell
During his 2017 stint in the villa, Theo didn’t shy away from causing drama, and would certainly cause fireworks in an All Stars series.
In February 2021, he revealed he’d become a father for the first time after welcoming a son with influencer Sapphire Yhnell.
Jack Fowler
Hunky: Ovie was one of Love Island’s breakout stars in 2019
Jack struggled to find his dream partner during his 2018 stint in the villa, making him the ideal candidate for the All Stars series.
In June 2021, he split from girlfriend Joanne Baban Morales after a year-long romance.
Ovie Soko
Ovie was one of Love Island’s breakout stars in 2019, with many fans claiming he and pal Amber Gill should have won the series as a platonic pairing.
While he did date India Reynolds after leaving the villa, he doesn’t seem to have found any love since.
