That’s right, It’s Gok Wan…
He captioned his post: ‘Night everyone! Hope this picture, taken in the early 80’s gives you the sweetest of dreams and my basin haircut (that momma wan cut with kitchen scissors) doesn’t give you nightmares’.
Fans wrote: ‘Cheeky and adorable, nothing has changed !!! XXX’
‘I think we can all relate to a mum’s dodgy hair cut’
‘Oh Gok – this is too cute – so lovely !!!’
‘Good night Gok you make me smile , beautiful inside and out’
It’s not the first time Gok, also known as Kowkhyn Wan, shared throwback snaps from his youth as he shared a photo of him last year.
The TV presenter, 48, who served as an agony uncle on This Morning, shared a snap of himself as an overweight 21-year-old while answering a caller’s question about body image.

The caller wanted advice on body confidence with Gok saying: ‘I’ve thought about this question a lot because when I was younger, I’ve spoken about this publicly.
‘I really struggled with my weight and still do actually, I’ll always live with my eating disorder as a result of it, and I was 21 stone as a kid and then I lost all my weight of me really big and me very painfully thin.
‘The difference is when I look at that picture now I don’t see size or weight, what I see is the same person.’
The fashion consultant has long been open about his struggles with his body image, saying he became overweight while working in his family’s Chinese restaurant in Leicester.
The star said he didn’t begin to lose weight until he moved to London to attend drama school and saw people who ‘looked very different’ to him.
Gok has previously reflected on the darker times in his youth, where he struggled with both obesity and anorexia.
He once weighed 21 stone and developed a serious eating disorder where he lost 11 stone in eight months.
The presenter told The Sun: ‘I don’t weigh myself because it’s a bit of a trigger from my old days. I don’t think I’ve lost that much. I think my body has just changed, that’s all. I’m fitter and I’ve noticed and felt a real difference in my clothing.

Looking good: Gok has admitted that his ‘confidence has improved’ since he started running after ‘overindulging’ on food during lockdown (pictured in March)
‘I feel a difference in how I move, actually, which has been a really interesting thing. I’m far more agile and relaxed, and my confidence has improved. When you feel fitter and stronger it makes you walk differently and sit differently. You behave differently.’
Gok admitted that people think he is a ‘massive ball of confidence’ yet he found being home alone during the pandemic ‘genuinely really scary’.
Talking about the ‘tough’ period, the stylist said that he ‘overindulged in everything’, including social media, phone use and food as it was a ‘novelty’.
Gok said that by the third lockdown in December 2020, he decided to overhaul his lifestyle by starting the Couch to 5K fitness challenge and soon ‘stuck at it’ as he could feel the ‘benefits instantly’.
