Here’s What Lana Condor Is Doing Now That The To All The Boys Movies Are Over

When it comes to the best teen romance movies in recent years, there’s been nothing more successful (or more heartfelt!) than the “To All The Boys” trilogy on Netflix, based upon the popular YA novels by Jenny Han. But though the hit series may have concluded with its third and final film earlier this year, there’s still good news: It seems that we haven’t seen the end of actress Lana Condor just yet!

First shooting to fame overnight with the 2018 film “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before,” Condor quickly became a huge star for her portrayal of the sweet and lovable Lara Jean Covey — and went on to reprise her role in two more films in the Netflix trilogy (via IMDb). But now that “To All The Boys” film series has officially ended, fans may be wondering: What’s Condor working on next?

Speaking to SELF in February 2021, the actress said that she is ready to break more boundaries in Hollywood in her future roles. “I don’t exclusively want to tell one type of story. If I see a script that was not written for someone that looks like me but I know I can do it, then I will absolutely go really intensely hard and try to get cast,” Condor told the outlet. “I think it’s so important to challenge Hollywood.”

Lana Condor is taking on more diverse roles in upcoming movies and TV shows

True to her word, Condor has already taken on more diverse roles following her success in the “To All The Boys” trilogy — in fact, per IMDb, she’s currently involved in three more upcoming projects! As reported by Deadline, Condor is set to star in a female buddy comedy film called “Girls Night,” which will follow two best friends “and their adventures over the course of Halloween Night in New York City as they try and track down a lost one-night stand.”

Additionally, fans who are itching to see Condor in even more rom-coms will also get to watch her in another upcoming film on HBO Max titled “Moonshot” — described as a rom-com “with a sci-fi twist” — where the actress will star alongside “Riverdale” actor Cole Sprouse (via Deadline).

Beyond these two films, it seems that Condor is expanding her partnership with Netflix as well — and even adding a major television role to her resume. According to Variety, she’s not only set to star in but also executive produce an upcoming limited comedy series on Netflix titled “Boo B*****,” which will see Condor portraying a high school senior who finds out she’s a ghost after “[seizing] the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life.”

We don’t know about you, but we definitely can’t wait to watch Condor in these exciting new projects — and see her star grow even bigger in the coming years!
