James McAvoy showed off his jaw-dropping muscles on Thursday as he made his way to the gym for a morning workout.
The Scottish actor, 42, flaunted his bulky biceps in a tight black vest, teamed with a pair of grey shorts and some blue trainers as he strolled down the street.
The star sported a cap and headphones, while carrying a banana as he took some plastic to a local recycling yard.

James appears to be focused on his fitness routine as his physique looked bulkier compared to his last couple of outings.
James McAvoy has revealed he secretly married American partner Lisa Liberati.
The star was rumoured to have wed the personal assistant, 42, in 2019 just a year after meeting – but refused to address the speculation.

James was reflecting on his identity with the Guardian newspaper, and the publication noted of him and Lisa: ‘They began a relationship a couple of years later and, he confirms, recently got married.’
As Lisa hails from Philadelphia, James was asked if he is now an honorary Philadelphian and told the newspaper: ‘Yeah, it’s like a second home for me.’
James offered no further details on their nuptials.
The couple began dating in 2018 after they met on the set of Split in America.

James had a leading role in the film while Lisa was a production assistant for the director M. Night Shyamalan.
The leading man had been married at the time to actress Anne-Marie Duff but was in the process of separating from her after 11 years of marriage. The exes share 11-year-old son Brendan.
Just two months after the divorce was finalised, the new couple posted a number of pictures of themselves on Instagram together at a fancy dress party to announce their relationship.
