Jamie Redknapp is reportedly set to become a dad for the third time at the age of 47.

The source said: ‘Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted. They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

‘Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing.’

They added that the couple have started telling their ‘nearest and dearest’ about their reported news in recent days.

MailOnline has contacted Jamie’s representative for further comment.

It is thought that Jamie’s dad Harry and mum Sandra, both 74, know about the news, however it is not known if Jamie’s ex-wife Louise has been told.

Jamie is already a father to his two sons, Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, who he shares with Louise, 46. They split four years ago in 2017.

While Frida has four children from her marriage to American hedge fund tycoon Jonathan Lourie, 58. The businessman appeared on the Sunday Times Rich List in 2013 when he was estimated to be worth £80m.

Frida is currently signed to Mrs Robinson Management, an agency for older models, and has previously appeared in content for designer brands such as Escada.

The blonde is a familiar face at high society parties and lives with her four children in a lavish mansion in west London.

Friendly: Jamie split from ex-wife Louise in 2017 and recently praised her for doing a ‘great job’ with co-parenting their two sons

Jamie split from Eternal singer Louise in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and recently praised his ex-wife for doing a ‘great job’ with co-parenting their two sons.

The former footballer admitted they still ensure they’re ‘pulling the right way’ when it comes to looking after their sons Charley and Beau.

Speaking to HELLO!  last month, Jamie said: ‘I’m very fortunate I’ve got two great boys. When you co-parent, it’s something you have to do together and make sure you’re both pulling the right way.’

He added: ‘Louise does a great job with the boys. We do the best we can and try to be tough but fair.’

Louise has often been candid about their split and revealed her regret over taking part in the 2016 edition of Strictly Come Dancing because it led to the end of her marriage in her book You’ve Got This.

The singer suggested she looks back on the experience with remorse as it ultimately ended her marriage to former soccer star Jamie.

She wrote: ‘If I’d done the show four years earlier, this wouldn’t have happened. I wouldn’t have walked away from my marriage.’

Louise, who was partnered with Kevin Clifton, said that taking part in the show ‘simply wasn’t worth putting anyone I loved or love through the heartache’.

The mum of two continued that she thinks she would have been ‘too scared’ to leave Jamie if she hadn’t taken part in the show.

And in April, Louise stated that a new romance isn’t her priority after her split from Jamie.

Speaking on BBC Morning Live, she said: ‘It has obviously been a long time since I was single, do you know what I find, it’s on everybody’s tongue: “Are you with anybody, have you met anybody?”

‘I feel until I’m actually with somebody and say: “Yep, present him, this is him” I feel like everyone is going to think: “Oh, is she okay? Is she not okay?”‘
