Jennifer Lopez wears cargo pants, combat boots, and a bomber jacket as she transforms into an assassin to film her latest movie in Vancouver

Jennifer Lopez was spotted filming a scene for her latest movie in Vancouver on Monday. 

The 52-year-old Hollywood veteran slipped into character as an assassin, wearing a brown bomber jacket with cream-colored lining, a gray beanie, and aviator sunglasses.

The singer drove the look home with dark cargo pants and combat boots.

As an on-the-run killer, Jennifer sported very long brunette locks that spilled out from underneath her hat.

She was seen carrying two dark bags – one over her shoulder and one in her hand. 

The scene was filmed on an airport runway, as it called for the entertainer to crawl out of a luggage transporter.

Crew members could be seen nearby, as well as a black SUV which the stealthy character uses to make a getaway.

The film is called The Mother and will be a Netflix original, the first of the streaming giant’s new partnership deal with Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions. 

The thriller is being directed by Niki Caro and was written by Misha Green. 

In it, the Bronx native plays a murderer who’s forced to give up her daughter, but returns years later to protect her from a group of dangerous men.  

Filming began in Canada this week and is scheduled to wrap in late January.

Joseph Fiennes, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Omari Hardwick will co-star in the project.

Hardwick could be seen in some of the snapshots captured from Monday’s filming. 

Earlier this year JLo wrapped up work on the romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding. It will be released by Lionsgate next summer.
