Jonnie Irwin shares adorable video with kids on movie night
Former A Place In The Sun presenter Jonnie Irwin has shut down a claim he is in remission.
The property expert was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2020 and given six months to live by doctors.
Jonnie, 49, kept his news private at first, but spoke out publicly last year after it had to spread to his brain.
He has since vowed to stay in high spirits and make as many memories as he can with his family.
Last week, the presenter took to Instagram to share a selfie and tell fans about a “positive experience” he had while travelling abroad.

The post prompted one fan to write: “Me thinks someone is in remission.”
Shutting down the claim, Jonnie simply replied: “I’m not.”
Amongst the comments were many supportive messages which included compliments about how good he was looking.
One wrote: “You look so much better than earlier in the year. Keep it up x.”
A second commented: “Brilliant. You are looking so amazingly well Jonnie.”

“Looking better than ever Jonnie! Safe journey,” a third added.
Fans also gushed over the recent family day out he “pushed” himself to after coming down with a chest infection.
Pictures show Jonnie looking every inch the doting dad as he and his wife helped their sons pumpkin picking.
Also on the day, the presenter was seen pushing two of his sons in a wheelbarrow as they excitedly sat on their pumpkins.
Jonnie shares three boys Rex, four, and twins Rafa and Cormac, three, with his wife Jessica Holmes.
His new Instagram updates come after his return to television on Escape to the Country last month.
Most recently, he expressed how happy he was to be back filming for BBC Morning Live.
Giving further details last week, he spilled: “We’ve just shot two short films about renovating your home and what to look out for. I think my smug smile betrays the lack of a massive commute for once and the extra couple of hours I got in my scratcher as we filmed in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
“I’ll let you know when they are due to go out, when I know myself. #onset #onlocation #bbcmorninglive #property #propertyrenovation #toon #newcastle.”
