The former Page 3 star first revealed the incident publicly in her autobiography, Being Jordan, in May 2004.
Katie detailed the damage the ordeal has caused during an appearance on Loose Women in 2017, stating: ‘There was the sexual assault and I was later raped.
‘I have discussed before and I do believe it led to me dressing provocatively and becoming a model.
‘I had been training to be a nurse but the glamour modelling world is aimed at men. They can look but they can’t touch. You can say or do what you like in a picture.’

‘It’s been a trouble in life’: The media personality also bravely spoke about being exploited by a photographer (stock image from 2009)
Elsewhere on the podcast, the media personality bravely spoke about being sexually exploited by a photographer.
The businesswoman added to host Annie Mac: ‘And then I got involved with this photographer who ended up being in prison. He was obsessed with me.’
‘He took indecent photographs that I thought were innocent at the time. I was 12. He made me do pictures where I was sticking my tongue out. They looked young and girly but to him. It is sexual. He used to make these milkshakes.
‘I never took one because I didn’t like it. The police when they came around.. that’s what he did he made the girls drink them and he drugged them.’
The TV star went on to reveal that ‘someone tried to get me in their car’ before she became a teenager, sharing: ‘My mum has had this constant all the time.
‘My dad left although I can’t remember… subconsciously your mind remembers everything. It is there.
‘So they worked out (at The Priory) the reason I jumped in and out relationships.. it is not wanting that father figure… they always let me down… that has been my trouble in life it is to do with men.’
The influencer later recalled when she was sexually assaulted while with three of her children – Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, and Princess, 14 – in South Africa three years ago.
Katie was groped and held at gunpoint when the family stopped at the roadside because her son Junior needed the toilet.
‘We had no security’: The influencer also recalled when she was sexually assaulted while with Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, and Princess, 14 – in South Africa in 2018 (pictured with her five kids)
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star said: ‘We were out in South Africa with the kids Junior and Princess with ITV. We had no security.
‘Junior wanted a wee. We got out the car. And all I remember him saying is ”mum imagine if I jump down here”. Next thing you know a car pulled up, six guys in it, out with their guns.
‘They did things to me in front of my kids in the car. They had a gun to my head. We thought we were going to die.’
She confessed that the incident – which also saw a friend get knocked out – left her eldest daughter scared at night.
The entrepreneur said: ‘Princess had therapy after that. She still doesn’t like nighttime … there is a lot that has gone on with that. I can’t even tell you how traumatic it was.We all thought we were going to die.
‘I was holding the pillow up waiting to be shot to protect my children. It made the news out there because no one didn’t understand why they didn’t kill us there.
‘The police said it was because they took the keys to the vehicles they were going to dump everything there and then come back. But luckily a passer by managed to get down.
‘People just drive past they are used to it out there. The police came and said: ‘it is so unusual that they didn’t kill you.

‘A lot of the crew went home because they couldn’t deal with it. I carried on because I am professional. That hijack was the nail on the head.’
Before her 2020 visit to The Priory, Katie visited the facility in September 2018 when she spent 28 days as an inpatient after her family urged her to seek help following wild partying antics in Mallorca.
She previously claimed she was sexually abused by a well-known person as a young woman.
At the time, the author insisted she will not be naming and shaming the person as she ‘doesn’t want the drama.’
During an industry event in 2017, the 2015 Celebrity Big Brother winner said: ‘I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama. I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.’
