Margot Robbie dazzled in a black, tea-length dress while attending the Gotham Independent Film Awards, among some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Michelle Williams, Penelope Cruz and Natalie Portman.

As she arrived to Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, all eyes were on the 33-year-old Barbie star as she strutted down the red carpet in a form-fitting frock under a semi-sheer cape with a bow across her neck. 

Her look was inspired by Black Magic Barbie, which is rumored to be inspired by one of Ruth Handler (Barbie creator’s) favorite outfits and released between 1964 to 1965. 

The two-time Oscar nominee, who attended the star-studded event with her husband Tom Ackerley, accessorized her chic ensemble with a metallic clutch, open-toed heels, pearl earrings and a pair of leather gloves. 

She opted to style her gorgeous golden blonde mane into a perfectly coiffed ponytail and opted for a stunning makeup look that enhanced her natural beauty and features.

Robbie looked radiant as she posed for photos with her man, before heading inside together as she prepared for her latest film, Barbie, to receive a tribute award. 

Other standout looks included Williams, 43, who took the plunge in a striking black gown, which featured a low-cut neckline and was adorned with an intricate floral design across her chest. 

The Golden Globe winner, who welcomed her third child last November, completed her outfit with a pearl and gold necklace and a large ring for an extra touch of glamor. 

Williams’ blush gave her a healthy and natural-looking flush of color while her smokey eyeshadow made the green flecks in her hazel eyes pop.

Her husband, Thomas Kail, best known for directing the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musicals In the Heights and Hamilton, held her hand on the red carpet. 

The theatre director, who won a Tony Award for Best Direction in 2016, cut a dapper figure in a black suit, white dress shirt and coordinating striped tie.
