Married At First Sight's Peggy makes shock decision to QUIT the show

Married At First Sight UK’s Peggy makes shock decision to QUIT the show and end her marriage to Georges

Married At First Sight UK’s Peggy Rose Lawrence is set to announce that she wants to quit the show.

During Monday night’s upcoming commitment ceremony, the technology risk partner, 32, will reveal that she wants to end her marriage to Georges Berthonneau, 30.

In the jaw-dropping scenes, Peggy opens up about her decision board to unveil that she’s written ‘LEAVE’ after admitting to her husband: ‘I can’t do it any longer!’

However, for the pair to be allowed to leave the E4 dating experiment, the sports rehabilitator will also have to decide to leave, as per the show rules.

Peggy’s shock decision comes after the couple failed to share any physical intimacy as the blonde beauty was put off by Georges’ online squatting videos.

OMG! Married At First Sight UK’s Peggy Rose Lawrence is set to announce that she wants to quit the show and leave her husband Georges Berthonneau on Monday night’s episode

Shock: Georges looks incredibly hurt when he sees Peggy’s decision after he became unpopular with the group for venting his opinions about other couples

No way! Peggy opens up her decision board to reveal that she’s written ‘LEAVE’ after admitting to her husband: ‘I can’t do it any longer!’

According to The Sun, during Monday night’s commitment ceremony, Peggy explains: ‘It’s really hard to say this….

‘The girls are telling me one thing and I’m defending you because I feel like I know the real George. But then, do I know the real George ‘cos he’s acting different in front of other people?

‘Then, I feel like a fool. I actually don’t know who the real person is. I just don’t know what it will take to make you just be you. And, sometimes I just don’t think you are listening to me.

‘I just think well, ”What’s the point?” so for that reason my decision is to leave. I can’t do it any longer. He needs to change.’

At this point, Peggy opens up her decision board to reveal that she’s written ‘LEAVE.’

Just last week, MAFS fans blasted Peggy after her reaction towards her husband Georges’ famous squatting livestream video.

The newlyweds have constantly argued over Georges’ sideline work ever since Peggy discovered during their honeymoon that her husband makes money for doing ‘favours’ on his online gaming channel.

Georges has his own gaming channel called French Berty on the platform Twitch where users have ‘redeems’ and the most popular request from his followers was to perform squats because he’s known for having ‘good legs.’

No thanks! Peggy has been reluctant to get intimate with Georges due to her ‘values’

Yikes: Last week, when the married couples were tasked with listing things they liked and disliked about their spouse, Peggy took the opportunity to bring up Georges’ online content

A video of the reality personality squatting and exposing his bare thighs while wearing a tight-fitting leotard and dominatrix style leather belt was soon sent to Peggy’s sister.

Georges was carrying out the exercises during a live stream on his 30th birthday – two days before the couple got married.

After explaining this to Peggy on their honeymoon, the couple clashed, and Georges subsequently found it difficult to justify his actions online to his wife.

When the married couples were tasked with listing things they liked and disliked about their spouse for Love/Hate week, Peggy took the opportunity to bring up Georges’ online content, admitting: ‘There are a few things that put me off Georges’.

She said that her dislikes about him were his career aspirations, that he’s confident but also insecure and criticised his hobbies and passions, saying: ‘The content he puts up online is humiliating. Why would you do that? It’s weird.’

Georges said he found her comments ‘unfair’ and privately confessed: ‘I feel like sometimes I’m not good enough for Peggy. Just take me as I am.’

After speaking to the other girls in the experiment, Peggy decided that she needed to watch the squatting video for herself.

She said: ‘I feel like I need to watch this video with my own eyes. If he thinks twerking on a bed or squatting is acceptable, he can do it without me

Make her own opinion: After speaking to the other girls in the experiment, Peggy decided that she needed to watch the squatting video for herself

Outraged: Peggy was shocked by the footage, saying: ‘I’m not liking what I’m seeing. I know that’s weird. More people would think that’s weird and not normal behaviour’

Shocked: She stormed out of the flat, adding: ‘It makes me feel sick to my stomach, like who is this man? I just feel humiliated’

‘This video has the potential to break me and Georges. If I don’t like what I’m seeing I’m out.’

The couple watched the clip at the flat, with Georges saying: ‘I’ve got nothing to hide, I know what I’ve done. Let’s get it over and done with because then we can either move on or go our separate ways.’

Peggy was shocked by the footage, saying: ‘I’m not liking what I’m seeing. I know that’s weird. More people would think that’s weird and not normal behaviour.

‘Why you need to do this? If that is what you really want to do, you’ll be doing it without me. That is not funny.’

Georges tried to defend himself, pointing out the video wasn’t explicit and saying: ‘Just because you don’t find it funny, doesn’t mean it’s not funny.’

But Peggy interrupted to say: ‘This I do hate. I think this is embarrassing, humiliating, degrading. I just think I’ve had enough. I’m out of here.’

She stormed out of the flat, adding: ‘It makes me feel sick to my stomach, like who is this man? I just feel humiliated.’
