‘All these dynamic lines will be smoothed’: Martine McCutcheon, 45, gives insight into her Botox routine… after revealing she ‘absolutely loves’ undergoing the cosmetic procedure

Martine McCutcheon has revealed she has shared a candid insight into her cosmetic routine, after undergoing Botox on-camera for an Instagram video.

The Love Actually star, 45, took to social media on Monday and shared a clip of herself undergoing the treatment in a promotional video for the Thérapie Clinic, having first detailed having Botox in 2016.

The clinician replies: ‘Yes of course. We can put some Botox here just to ever so slightly lift it and smooth over those lines. Yes so when you smile – smile for me – all those dynamic lines that you see, these will be ever so slightly smoothed.’

Martine filmed herself on the way to the clinic, saying: ‘Hi everybody. I am really excited because I am on my way to the Therapie Clinic to have my first ever treatment.’

Botox injections relax the muscles in the face to smooth out lines and wrinkles, with the treatment usually lasting three to four months.

The cost of injections in the UK can vary from £100 to £350 depending on the area being treated and the clinic carrying out the treatment.

In 2016, Martine spoke of how she’s grown to love using botox.

She detailed how she was left ‘looking deranged’ after her first ever session yet persevered and grew to love the facial enhancements.

She said: ‘When I had a really tough time being unwell, and trying to have rapidity and it didn’t go well, it basically showed on my face a lot and I looked ravaged…

‘I just looked in the mirror and thought I’ve always had nice skin, I always had a nice beautiful glow, and it has gone.

‘So I had Botox and I didn’t like it, it made me look a bit strange, and then I had it again, and Oh my god, I loved it, I absolutely loved it, because it didn’t look like I wasn’t me anymore, I just didn’t looked like me but not a creased pillow basically.’

It comes after Martine set pulses racing once more on Wednesday as she posed topless in an Instagram photo from her recent vacation.

The actress looked sensational as she captured her slender frame in a mirror selfie while admitting to missing the Mediterranean sun.

Martine was seen wearing black high-waist bottoms revealing her pert posterior, as she strategically positioned her phone to cover her exposed breasts.

The sun-kissed Love Actually star tucked her raven tresses back in a half-up half-down hairdo and appeared to go make-up free.

She sported understated jewellery as she rested one hand on a slatted wardrobe and delivered a subtle smile.

Martine became a household name in the Nineties after landing the role of Tiffany Mitchell in EastEnders.

She found international fame after starring alongside Hugh Grant in 2003’s Love Actually.

Martine is married to singer-songwriter Jack McManus, 37, and they are parents to six-year-old son Rafferty.
