Friends star Matt LeBlanc’s father Paul claims he has not spoken to his son in nine years after a dispute ‘about money and a motorbike,’ which led to their estrangement.

While reflecting on their tragic falling-out, Paul told The Sun he watches reruns of the star’s hit NBC sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004, to stay ‘connected’ to the Golden Globe winner, who allegedly will not return his dad’s texts or phone calls.

‘I’ve been living without any contact for nine years and it is still hard to believe what has happened,’ Paul told the outlet. ‘I’ve been cut off and locked out of my house over a humiliating argument about money and a motorbike.’

He continued: ‘I’m an old man now and I live off social security. If it wasn’t for my savings, I wouldn’t be able to survive.’

In response to Paul’s claims, a spokeswoman for Matt told The Sun: ‘To put this in perspective, Matt’s father abandoned Matt and his mother when he was an infant.’

Among Paul’s shocking claims, like that the actor has only sent him one birthday card in his ‘entire life,’ he insists all attempts to get in touch with Matt are ignored.

‘I’ve sent him text messages including one this year asking if we can get back in touch, but he has totally ignored me,’ Paul alleged.

Angry: While reflecting on their tragic falling-out, Paul told The Sun he watches reruns of the star’s hit NBC sitcom, which ran 1994 to 2004, to stay ‘connected’ to the Golden Globe winner, who allegedly will return his dad’s texts or phone calls (Paul seen in 1997)

Paul stated: ‘It’s humiliating. But the truth is Matt has always been a mother’s boy and there have been so many fallings out. We are all getting older.’

Ultimately, Paul yearns to tell his son to get his ‘act together before it is too late.’

‘You’re going to miss me when I’m gone,’ Paul warned, before quipping that he didn’t understand ‘all the fuss’ over the Friends cast’s upcoming reunion.

‘I only have one TV channel so I won’t be watching the reunion,’ he said in the interview. ‘I’ve always thought Friends was a silly show for young people.’

‘I’ve been living without any contact for nine years and it is still hard to believe what has happened,’ Paul told the outlet. ‘I’ve been cut off and locked out of my house over a humiliating argument about money and a motorbike’

Before their estrangement, Paul says he ‘moved out to Malibu when he was starring on Friends’ so they could spend more time together.

‘The problem is that when someone has money, you don’t get into their lifestyle unless they want you there, and they can shut you down,’ Paul said.

Paul says Matt eventually bought him a home in Colorado and paid him an allowance.

Elaborating on their relationship, he noted: ‘Matt is erratic with me and he has a short temper. One minute he is nice, the next he is cutting your throat — not literally obviously.’

The Man with a Plan star would regularly visit, according to Paul, who said they would ‘hang out drinking beers and messing around on bikes.’

‘That was a good time, but Matt is obsessed with acting. The last time he came out to see me was in 2011,’ Paul reflected.

But after Paul gifted his motorbike to his nephew, Matt allegedly got ‘so angry’ he shut off his father’s allowance.

Hoping on to hope: Still, Paul hopes to reconnect with Matt (pictured in 2018) and his 17-year-old daughter Marina before winding up on his ‘deathbed’

‘He probably thought I’d beg for him to turn it on, but it will be a cold day in hell before that happens,’ Paul said.

The star’s dad admitted: ‘I don’t understand it. I’ve spent the last nine years thinking about it and I still find it unbelievable. He just cut me off.’

This led to Paul no longer being able to pay rent and losing ‘everything.’

Soon: Matt will next be seen in HBO’s upcoming Friends: The Reunion on Thursday, May 27th

Paul also has a history of making wild claims, including telling OK! magazine that Matt and his Friends costar Jennifer Aniston would ‘make out in the dressing rooms’ while she ‘was married to Brad Pitt.’

Both Aniston and Matt denied the claims at the time, in addition to the 52-year-old The Morning Show’s rep, who said ‘Jennifer has never had a romantic or sexual relationship with Matt LeBlanc.’
