Max George supported by girlfriend Stacey Giggs at Tom Parker’s funeral after pair get back together

The Wanted star Max George was supported by his girlfriend Stacey Giggs as they attended the funeral for his bandmate Tom Parker.

Tom tragically passed away at the age of 33 on 30 March – a year and a half after being diagnosed with a brain cancer called glioblastoma.

And the late star's bandmate and close friend Max, 33, was joined by his other half Stacey, 42, at the funeral held at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church in Petts Wood on Wednesday.

Days after it was revealed the pair had rekindled their romance following their break-up in March, Max, who was dressed in all black, tightly held Stacey's hand.

Stacey wore a black pleated midi-dress, leather jacket, heeled boots and shades.

Last week, it was revealed that the pair rekindled their relationship just weeks after reports suggested that they had split.

The singer first began dating Stacey in 2018, and the pair's relationship went from strength to strength, with Max calling the ex-WAG "The One" while on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.

However, the pair were said to have called time on their relationship last month after four years together.

Having spent some time apart, the couple is now giving things another go and are "working through their issues".

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday last week, a source said: "Max and Stacey had a real rough patch, and in the heat of the moment, they called it a day.

"It was a very upsetting time for both of them."

They continued: "But now things have calmed down, they both felt they wanted to patch things up. They are back together and working through their issues."

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Max paid tribute to his "feisty" friend and bandmate Tom in a heartwarming eulogy at his funeral service today.

Max was joined by Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes, as they said their final goodbyes to Tom.

In an emotional speech, Max said: "So, I hadn't actually written this bit, but as we were carrying Tom in, I could hear him saying, 'It's about time' because he's carried us for the past 12 years.

He continued: "Tom was and always will be a brother to myself and my bandmates, he made such an impact on us from the start, and his love for music and strive for success outmatches any of us completely."

"His feistiness outmatched anyone on the planet. He's the only member of The Wanted to have a punch-up with every member.

"But everything he did, he did it with his best intentions. Even if it was a fight, he always got away with it. He got away with everything because it was Tom – he was fine.
