Maya Jama ‘set for a bumper pay day as impressed ITV bosses offer six-figure salary to keep her on as Love Island host’
Maya Jama will reportedly be paid a whopping £750,000 for the next series of Love Island after impressing ITV bosses.
The presenter, 28 has been hosting the dating show’s winter and summer editions, as well as the spin-off AfterSun for just a year and has been a huge hit with viewers.
Maya took over as Love Island presenter from Laura Whitmore, 38, earlier this year and has previously hosted BBC makeup series Glow Up, Walk the Line and Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros: Live.
Now TV insiders say the network will increase her salary when her contract is renewed for the next series.
‘ITV absolutely love Maya — she’s gone down a storm with viewers and is perfect with her fun banter and flirty style,’ a source told The Sun.

The Bristol-born beauty’s career has catapulted in the last few years and it is without doubt that she is in high demand.
Just four days ago, Maya was unveiled as the new face of luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana – a deal believed to be worth thousands.
She is also Vogue’s August cover star.
She is also at the forefront of campaigns for Rimmel London and modelling for the likes of designer brand Self-Portrait.
With all that behind her belt and her own beauty range MIJ Masks, Maya is thought to be worth around £3million.
Famed for her Love Island hosting, Maya has also made a name for herself following a highly-publicised breakup from rapper Stormzy, 28, who she dated from 2014 until 2019.
Currently single, Maya ended her engagement to Australian basketball player Ben Simmons, who is an ex of Kendall Jenner’s. She spoke publicly about their split for the first time on Love Island spin-off show Aftersun this week.
