Megan Fox calls judgment about age difference with beau 'ridiculous'

Megan Fox, 35, calls judgment about age difference with Machine Gun Kelly, 31, ‘ridiculous’: ‘No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone 4 years younger’

Megan Fox started dating Machine Gun Kelly earlier this year.

And soon after haters trashed the beauty about being with a younger man, which she thinks is unfair.

‘He’s 31, and I’m 35…. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger,’ said the actress known for her films Jennifer’s Body and Transformers.

A real love: Megan Fox started dating Machine Gun Kelly earlier this year. And soon after haters trashed the beauty about being with a younger man, which she thinks is unfair

Clooney, 60, has a history of being with younger women – one of his girlfriends was Stacy Keibler, 41. He is now wed to lawyer Amal Clooney, 43, with whom he has twins.

Megan added: ‘Four years? Go f**k yourself. We would have been in high school together. That’s so ridiculous that women are treated that way.’

Also in the August issue of InStyle magazine the brunette bombshell insisted the romance with MGK had nothing to do with her decision to leave her husband Brian Austin Green whom she has three kids with: Noah Shannon, eight, Bodhi Ransom seven, and Journey River, four.

Unfair: ‘He’s 31, and I’m 35…. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger,’ said the actress known for her films Jennifer’s Body and Transformers

Machine Gun Kelly had ‘nothing to do with it,’ she told the fashion magazine.

And her beau Kelly also spoke to the publication saying he and the Hollywood siren have a ‘real great love.’

The musician said: ‘She’s like the earth. When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it’s a beautiful transition.’

He then added: ‘She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life. I just want people to understand this is real – I don’t think people get the opportunity to believe in real great love, and that’s what we have together.”

Ok for him but not for Fox? Clooney, 60, had a history of dating younger women – one was Stacy Keibler, 41. He is wed to lawyer Amal Clooney, 43. Seen in 2020

At the InStyle photo shoot he said ‘wow’ when he saw her in a corset, and the writer also noted they slow danced together at the shoot.

As far as being a working mom she said ‘there’s so much judgment.’

She relayed people will ask her where her kids are when she is at work which irks her. ‘Do you ask their dad when he’s out? No, because you don’t expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I’m supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids,’ said Megan.

‘They have another parent. I have to leave and sometimes I don’t want them photographed and they don’t come with me. This whole year I’ve been very surprised by how archaic some of the mindsets still are in some people.’

No overlap: Also in the August issue of InStyle magazine the brunette bombshell insisted the romance with MGK had nothing to do with her decision to leave her husband Brian Austin Green whom she has three kids with: Noah Shannon, eight, Bodhi Ransom seven, and Journey River, four. Seen in 2014

And she touched on the bullying her child Noah gets: ‘I don’t want him to ever have to read that sh*t because he hears it from little kids at his own school who are like, “Boys don’t wear dresses,”‘ she said.

Most of the InStyle interview was about her career.

In early 2020 she had a ‘change in psychology’ when she saw one of her older films she was slammed for and realized the critics were wrong.

That has caused her to be completely alter her life: she split from Green, signed on for several new films, which included Midnight in the Switchgrass, then fell for her co-star Machine Gun Kelly.

A 180: Fox was in a ‘self-imposed prison’ after years of being trashed for her work in movies. But the Jennifer’s Body actress told the August issue of InStyle magazine that in early 2020 she had a ‘change in psychology’ when she saw one of her older films she was slammed for and realized the critics were wrong

Megan came to fame in her early 20s as she became a Hollywood ‘it girl.’

She experienced a flourishing film career until she criticized Michael Bay after they worked together on the 2007 movie Transformers.

The backlash was severe and she was not asked back to make another Transformers.

The star said, ‘I had to armor up so much inside myself, and I had to be so tough to have to process this really crazy heavy price for what I thought was doing the right thing.’

A new confidence: ‘I had this incredible breakthrough, and I realized that I had been living in a self-imposed prison for so long because I let other people tell me who I was or what I wasn’t. I hid because I was hurt,’ said the star.

And she was also slammed for her work in 2009’s Jennifer’s Body, which now has a cult following.

Then she watched her career falter.

‘I was brought out and stoned and murdered at one point,’ she said of her career.

All the negative feedback made her take a break from Hollywood as she focused on her marriage to Green and her three kids.

But then she started to look at her career differently.

She had her ‘change in my psychology’ in early 2020 when filming Rogue in South Africa.

‘I took all my crystals, and I set up my little temple inside my room. I turned on this massive TV, and Jonah Hex was on, which got panned in the press. It was supposed to be terrible,’ she said.

No more fear: And she made a promise to herself. ‘I promised myself that I would never live one more day of my life from fear. I came home, and my whole life changed. I got a divorce and I started working more and doing more things. I ended up meeting Colson [Machine Gun Kelly], and then literally everything exploded from there’

Jonah Hex was trashed at the time but is now beloved by TikTok users.

‘I had never even watched it because the other actors told me not to. I mean, I got crucified for that movie, just brutalized in the reviews. But something came over me, and I said, f**k it, I’m going to be brave and watch it.’

After she viewed the film, she realized the critics went too far. She stayed up all night pondering her past and how the haters had made her shy away from work.

That changed her attitude.

Hard to take: She said she did not enjoy making the 2007 film Transformers; seen with co-star Shia LaBeouf

She got backlash for this: Fox called her director Michael Boy a Napoleon; she was not asked back for another Transformers. Seen with Shia and Michael in 2009

‘I had this incredible breakthrough, and I realized that I had been living in a self-imposed prison for so long because I let other people tell me who I was or what I wasn’t. I hid because I was hurt,’ said the star.

And she made a promise to herself.

‘I promised myself that I would never live one more day of my life from fear. I came home, and my whole life changed. I got a divorce and I started working more and doing more things. I ended up meeting Colson [Machine Gun Kelly], and then literally everything exploded from there.’

The timeline: she split from Brian in early 2020, met MGK in March, then announced her divorce from Green in May.

Now she is working nonstop: ‘It is a little bit like being a phoenix, like being resurrected from the ashes.’

But the movie is tops with the new generation: And she was also slammed for her work in 2009’s Jennifer’s Body, which now has a cult following. Seen with Amanda Seyfried

She has aspirations to become a big box office sensation instead of chasing awards by making art films.

‘I won’t lie, I do want to find a Marvel or a DC character that I’ve always wanted to play, and do one of those,’ said the beauty.

‘People hate on you as an actor for that because it doesn’t get you the big awards. I don’t give a f**k. Give me an MTV award. I don’t need a f**king BAFTA.’
