Meghan and Harry hand in hand at Invictus Games
Sam Ryder confessed that when he met Meghan Markle he couldn’t believe she broke royal protocol.
The 34-year-old singer met Meghan, 42, at the Invictus Games earlier this year.
He met both the Duchess and her husband Prince Harry after he performed.
During an interview with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2, he was completely taken aback by her.
Talking about their encounter he admitted to being a nervous wreck.

Scott, 50, asked Sam about Invictus Games and said: “You met Meghan Markle recently and what did you do?”
To which Sam replied: “Fist bump! [laughs] I too was nervous.
“I didn’t really know the etiquette and just threw one of those. But she threw it right back, like with vigour.”
He then described her as “wicked” and a “legend”.

“We were playing Mountain at the Invictus Games closing ceremony, it was so cool. That was beyond music”
Sam admitted that he felt very emotional as it was something special to be part of.
“So emotional, something so cool to be a part of”.
After meeting both the Duke and Duchess he revealed: “Meghan was really lovely and Harry just really welcoming, came to say hello before the show and Meghan was singing the words – blew my mind a bit.”

Astounded that she knew the words to his music he said: “She was going for it. Legend.”
Meghan was recently spotted wearing a bracelet gifted to her by the King.
She stepped out on Monday in Santa Barbara where she resides with her husband and two young children.
The Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet appeared to offer an olive branch to her father-in-law in her first public appearance since Omid Scobie’s book, Endgame, was released.
