Mel B has confirmed that The Spice Girls are planning to reunite for a tour, with Australia firmly in their sights.
The British pop star, 47, has been spending plenty of time Down Under in recent weeks while starring as a judge on The Masked Singer Australia’s upcoming new season.
‘I said it at the end of our 2019 tour, ”see you next year, Australia”, and then Covid hit and everyone’s plans went out the window,’ Mel B told The Daily Telegraph this week.

‘We are definitely planning to do more shows and Australia is a place that we really love so I am going to be sure we will come back here.’
Mel said being a celebrity panelist on the zany Channel 10 reality show has allowed her to rekindle her love affair with Australia.
She also wanted to call her youngest daughter Sydney, having lived there for three years.

It comes after Channel 10 locked in The Masked Singer to premiere on Sunday, August 7, following a wrap on production in Sydney on Friday.
‘The Masked Singer is coming in hot. Get a little spice in your life, Sunday, August 7, on 10 and 10 play on demand,’ read a post on the show’s official Instagram account.

Comedian Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes rounds out the panel, while Osher Günsberg is returning as host.
Urzila left the hit franchise in early May due to her comedy tour, two weeks after Dannii resigned over scheduling conflicts with her British TV commitments.
Announcing her exit on Instagram, Jackie thanked The Masked Singer’s crew and said filming the zany show was ‘the most fun I’ve ever had on TV’.
Jackie, who had been with The Masked Singer since its debut in 2019, said her co-stars Danni, Urzila, Dave and host Osher Günsberg were now her ‘lifelong friends’.
