Shepherdess Amanda Owen often shares insights into her life with her adoring social media followers. Now, the Our Yorkshire Farm star has urged her fans to be careful if they are to try and replicate her latest move.

Amanda, 46, returned to her Instagram page yesterday, sharing an update with her 389,000 followers on the photo-sharing site.
Her post comes after the mum-of-nine enjoyed a day out with her children on the stunning rural Yorkshire Moors.
Amanda left fans dazzled yesterday after they noticed her black eye had healed following a run-in with one of her sheep.
Now, the Huddersfield-born star has revealed that following the summer holidays, she is preparing for her younger children to return to school but is still making the most of their break.
The former model and two of her daughters have been enjoying a date on their farm, Ravenseat.
Sharing an array of snaps, the two youngsters were dressed in red and black polka dot salsa dancing dresses, paired with suitable outdoor shoes.
However, while they were dressed to the nines, they had been foraging for food with their mother.
Captioning her post, Amanda penned: “Summer fades, Autumn looms.”
She went on to add, warning: “A bumper crop of field mushrooms.
“*BE CAREFUL & SURE OF YOUR ID SKILLS WHEN PICKING*.
“#yorkshire #forage #wildeats #homegrown #mushrooms.”
Her post, that has raked in almost 8,000 likes in just a matter of hours, was soon flooded with messages from some of her doting followers.

“Yummy fried wild mushrooms and bacon,” wrote one.
While a second penned: “Lovely photos, lovely dresses and yummy mushrooms, delicious with bacon for breakfast.”
“Beautiful, and as always, love the pretty dresses,” said a third.
Before a fourth typed: “Lovely dresses I don’t think summers has been here this year apart from a couple of weeks early on.”(sic)
While Amanda and her family live on their rural farm, she admits that she does have some concerns about their way of life.
Speaking on Trees A Crowd podcast with David Oakes, Amanda said: “Every winter it snows, it’s nice. I mean for quite a lot of Britain now snow is a rarity, it’s a big thing, you get to see pictures on social media.
“Here you get snow proper and it blows about, you get dry snow, you get the wet show, if you can imagine, on this bank snow upon snow, that’s what it does.”
She continued: “We live in an exposed high place, we seem to have a little microclimate of our very own,”
“If you can imagine, I don’t fear the snow, if it’s well forecast I know it’s coming, we know what to do we know how to work with it.
“Snow in winter is to be expected, snow winter is kind of like comforting, it’s right.
“It’s like when the kids are swimming in a river in February I think that’s worrying.”
