Piers Morgan, 56, reacted to rival presenter Dan Walker, 44, after the BBC Breakfast took a trip down memory lane. The latter took to Twitter and shared a montage of photos when he competed against the former Good Morning Britain presenter at a golf match.
The golf enthusiasts took part in the BMW PGA Championship which is held annually.
The TV rivals came face-to-face for the game which was held at Wentworth five years ago.
The pair, who often go back and forth on social media, were pictured together at the tournament.
In view of his 711,000 followers, Dan penned: “My phone has reminded me of a great day on the golf course 5 years ago.
“Team Coetzee performed surprisingly well at the #BMWPGA pro am at Wentworth @gcoetzeegolf @KP24 @piersmorgan.”
Piers took the opportunity to reply, as he cheekily teased that Dan had purposely snubbed his 87ft putt in the picture montage.
“What a day… though very disappointed not to see my 87ft putt make the montage,” Piers joked.
Dan replied: “It’s growing 10ft every year!”
Cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who also played with the presenting duo, quipped: “Talk less, you play better. Cost us!”
Fans commented on Dan and Piers’ exchange, as one noted: “Appears you two spent all day together. Always knew you got on really…”
Another quipped at Piers: “It’s not all about you!”
The BBC host previously dished on his encounter at the event with Piers and cheekily joked he “didn’t want to talk about it” during an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.

He revealed the last time the presenters played golf together the ex-GMB host took a chance on a photo opportunity.
Speaking about the moment, Dan explained: “The last time I played golf with Piers, I don’t even want to talk about it.
“We were at an event at Wentworth for the BMW PGA.
“And Piers said, ‘Dan, listen, I’ve got a photographer who is following me around for the day.
“‘He just needs a picture of me throttling you. Can we do that?'”
Dan explained that he agreed to take the photo as he admitted things were fine between them afterwards.
“So, I said, ‘Go on then,'” the BBC host commented. “So Piers sort of pretended to strangle me and his photographer took a picture.
“And Piers was fine after that. I think that gives you a good indication of how his mind operates.”
