Shinedown Looking To Release New Album After The Summer

Shinedown‘s seventh studio album will be released after the summer, according to the band’s frontman Brent Smith.

“I can’t give you exact dates on everything for the new record. I can tell you that we will be looking after summer for release,” Smith said in an interview with Detroit’s WRIF radio station. “So that is something I can tell you, as far as new music is concerned, with the new album.”

Smith confirmed that the album is being recorded at Shinedown bassist and producer Eric Bass‘s new studio in Charleston, South Carolina.

“Each day we’re starting to get good news and better news, we’re gonna be doing shows — full Shinedown — hopefully by August of this year,” he added.

The untitled album would be a follow-up to 2018’s Attention Attention.
