Vanderpump Rules' Brittany Cartwright goes glam for maternity shoot

Pregnant Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright gets ‘glammed up’ for maternity shoot… as she confesses ‘Everything is growing’

Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright is noticing a lot of significant changes to her body and face throughout her pregnancy.

On Saturday the 31-year-old wife of Jax Taylor tried to boost her mood as she got all ‘glammed up’ ahead of a maternity shoot.

Due to give birth to a son in April 2021, the six-months pregnant reality star shared some made up selfies in a nude bra as she confessed, ‘Everything is growing,’ while touching on her sometimes unrecognizable self.

Flashing her pregnant belly and bust, the Kentucky native used the dolled up shoot to elevate her sometimes waning confidence.

‘I got glammed up and did a selfie shoot lol it’s important to feel confident in your body especially during quarantine + pregnancy,’ she said.

‘Everything is growing- my lips, my feet, my belly, my boobs lol! Getting some makeup on and your hair done can make a huge difference in your mood, I know this first hand!’

‘I’m feeling good today and getting excited for a maternity shoot!! I need ideas so comment below if you have any good ones.’

Dolled up: The Kentucky native wore her brown hair in soft curls and put on some eyeliner and lipstick on her enlarged pout

She wore her light brown locks lightly curled down to her belly and put on some eyeliner and a light coat of lipstick on her noticeably larger pout.

Her hand on her belly with a nude manicure, she struck a series of poses.

Husband of one year Taylor commented on the post, ‘God you are so beautiful! I love you so much,’ with the heart eye emoji.

Fellow castmate Dayna Kathan commented, ‘GORGEOUS,’ while Summer House’s Hannah Berner wrote, ‘HOT MAMA.’

Clapping back: She revealed people had accused her of having work done due to her noticeably different appearance as she said, ‘Come on, I’m not getting filler or botox when I’m pregnant obviously’

After the selfie series she took to her Instagram to react to some comments she had been receiving from followers.

‘So apparently everybody thinks that I had my lips done, so here’s a video of me – no filter, no nothing, no lip liner.’

‘Your lips just get bigger when you’re pregnant for some people, or your nose – like my nose I feel like has gotten bigger. My feet is bigger, my hands are bigger – I can’t even fit rings on anymore – so yes, things really do get bigger.’

She continued to hit back at critics as she said, ‘Come on, I’m not getting filler or botox when I’m pregnant obviously!’

Jax posted a video of a breast pump shipment on their kitchen counter as he joked, ‘This is my life now,’ as an excited Brittany clapped, ‘And it’s awesome!,’ to which he quipped back, ‘breast pumps – this is what my life has come to.’

A notorious playboy as seen played out in the majority of his eight seasons on the show, he had to taper back his cheating ways when Brittany entered the pictured – though they did have their fair share of issues.

Married in June 2019, controversy surrounded their initial choice to use Brittany’s family pastor – who was deeply conservative and homophobic – to marry them which caused a stir in the season.

The show’s Executive Producer and Bravo mastermind Andy Cohen recently spoke out about the situation in a New York Times profile on December 30.

‘It didn’t seem so shocking to me that someone’s family pastor in Kentucky was homophobic. I’m not condoning homophobia. I’m saying it exists,’ he said while talking about his casting approach that aims to feature a wide range of viewpoints.

He then addressed the myriad of cast firings on the show as vets Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were let go in the summer due to re-surfaced racist comments, swiftly followed by newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni.

The latest to get the boot were Cartwright and Taylor who announced they would not be returning in early December, as the pair made it seem like it was on their own terms before it was revealed that they were let go.

‘Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules. We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors,’ the pair announced on Instagram.

Despite this, Taylor hinted they were in the process of farming for their own reality show.

A source told E! News a week after they announced their departure, ‘Jax and Brittany are planning to get their own show based on their new phase of life becoming parents. They have started to film ideas and are pitching it right now.’
