‘Some evidence I actually do smile!’: Victoria Beckham playfully hits back at sons Romeo and Cruz after they teased her for her signature poker face
She is renowned for often keeping a very straight face.
But Victoria Beckham was out to prove that she does sometimes smile as she shared a gallery of beaming snaps to her Instagram Story on Saturday.
The fashion designer, 46, was on a mission to show she can vary her expressions after her sons Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 16, poked fun at her serious face by wearing logo T-shirts from her collection with ‘FFS SMILE’ printed on them.

Victoria responded to their joke by collating several pictures of herself smiling, writing in a caption: ‘Some evidence I actually do smile!’, to celebrate the International Day of Happiness.
They included a gallery of old snaps with her footballer husband David, on old family holidays and during work events.
In one snap she held up her autobiography called ‘Learning to Fly’ which was released 20 years ago in 2001.

In another she sported her famous blonde cropped hair which she rocked in 2007 and in a separate picture she beamed in a bikini and life jacket during a getaway.
It came after Romeo and Cruz both posted pictures of themselves wearing T-shirts that read ‘FFS SMILE’ on them.

Victoria previously told Vogue that the ‘worst question’ she is ever asked is ‘Why don’t you ever smile?’
She joked that she’s smiling on the inside and the reason she never breaks into a grin is because: ‘I feel that I have a responsibility to the fashion community.’
The former Spice Girl has previously said she would look silly if she was seen constantly smiling.

‘I smile in family pictures,’ she told The New York Times back in 2013. ‘When you’re in a position to be paparazzi-ed just walking down the street, you’d look a little daft if you were smiling all the time.’
Earlier this week, Victoria shared a hilarious picture of a van number plate which read ‘VB BKRY’ on Saturday as she joked she ‘hadn’t been this close to a carb in ages’.
The fashion designer poked fun at her strict diets with the snap where the registration looked like the word ‘Bakery’.

She posted a picture of the back of the white Chevrolet van with a California registered number plate on her Instagram story.
Clearly finding the letters hilarious she wrote in the caption ‘Haven’t been this close to a carb in ages’ along with two crying emoji faces.
Victoria is known for always staying in shape and often following rigorous diets.
Last August she reportedly broke her 20-year no carb rule after husband David impressed her with his homemade pizza skills during lockdown.
The former footballer, 45, is said to have been experimenting with recipes during the lockdown.
According to reports, Victoria ‘couldn’t get enough’ of David’s homemade pizza after using various different toppings.

Although was claimed that Victoria – who is known for her love of steamed fish and vegetables – was soon ‘back to clean eating’.
A source told The Sun: ‘Victoria hasn’t touched a carb since 2001. But at the start of lockdown, David started experimenting with recipes — making the dough from scratch and trying various toppings.’
They added: ‘Victoria eventually relented and had a small slice.
‘Things progressed and, basically, she couldn’t get enough of David’s delicious golden dough balls.’

And David took to Instagram on Mother’s Day last week to share a heartfelt tribute to her.
He also shared a snap of her alongside his mother Sandra and her mum Jackie.
The footballer wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the mummy’s out there xx We love you @victoriabeckham @sandra_beckham49 and @jackie.adams_ for everything you give to us’.
The couple’s son Romeo posted a snap of himself with his parents and wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing mum in the world ♥️♥️ @victoriabeckham’.
Victoria later re-shared David’s snap of her along with Sandra and Jackie while she also posted another photo with her mum and wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers! So lucky to have you @jackie.adams_’.
The Spice Girl also uploaded a clip of herself singing the band’s hit single Mama along with a snap of her and daughter Harper enjoying a relaxing day as they wrapped up in bathrobes.
