Eamonn Holmes recently launched his new show on GB News after announcing his departure from ITV’s This Morning last month. But apparently, that isn’t the only noticeable change viewers have noticed about the 62-year-old.
Both of you …. if I did, which I haven’t, I’d want my money back

One eagle-eyed fan took to Twitter on Wednesday morning, questioning whether Eamonn may have had a facelift procedure after seemingly noticing a drastic change in his facial features.
“Just put @GBNEWS on & hardly recognised @EamonnHolmes,” the Twitter user @12Walkies wrote.
“Has he had a face-lift? I tend to think it’s more noticeable on men & his face definitely looks quite taut & less jowelly than I remember.” (sic)
“His face, his money, just wondering if anyone knew.”
The user @chilternbear echoed similar words after also having observed a difference in Eamonn’s appearance since joining GB News.
“Of course we noticed!” they insisted.
“The poor old thing has been rebuilt!
“Looking at the uneven mouth, raised eyebrows, and inability to think I would hazard a guess that this was an economy job.”
The Northern Irish broadcaster didn’t seem too amused as he issued a response from his official account in view of his one million followers.
“Both of you …. if I did , which I haven’t, I’d want my money back,” he said.
“Should have gone to Specsavers!” followed with three eye-rolling emojis.
Eamonn has been very active on the social media platform as of late.
Last week, he utilised the app to take a jab at ITV’s Good Morning Britain after a viewer poked fun at the morning show’s drastic decline in ratings since Piers Morgan’s departure in March 2021.
According to Mail Online, GMB has lost a third of its viewership since the incident between Piers and co-presenter Alex Beresford, who engaged in a heated debate over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s infamous interview with former chat show host Oprah Winfrey.
Daily Mail commentator Andrew Pierce tweeted: “Talking @gmb with @susannareid100 @Kevin_Maguire about Prince Andrew whose court case went very badly last night in US.”
A Twitter follower replied in the comment section, writing: “About as badly as #GMB viewing figures now you best jump ship Andrew go over to @EamonnHolmes new morning show on #GBNews.”
Eamonn appeared to have come across the remark as he retweeted the post and left several grinning emojis as his response, along with a thumbs up.
Despite initial doubt from This Morning viewers wondering whether his wife Ruth Langsford would also be jumping ship and joining GB News, a spokesperson for ITV confirmed in December that they are extending their working relationship with the 61-year-old through 2022.
“As a duo, Eamonn and Ruth have been part of the This Morning presenting team for the last 15 years, and we thank Eamonn for all of his hard work and contribution to the show,” they wrote.
“Ruth remains an important part of ITV Daytime both as a continuing member of the This Morning family and as an anchor presenter on Loose Women.”
