The clip starts with Abbi removing the dust-covered metal covers and placing them in her sink to soak.

She then shows the grime hiding in the gaps of her radiator, which has accumulated over the years.

Abbi begins her deep clean by pouring hot water down the middle of her radiator – with a dish placed underneath to catch the falling dirt – which flushes out the filth from hard-to-reach places.

She only pours water down one small section at a time, to avoid spilling the liquid all over her floor, before wiping up the dust and dirt left behind.

However, some viewers suggested using water could cause a radiator to rust or would potentially get your walls wet, so instead said a hairdryer should be used to blow the dust and dirt out.

Finally, Abbi uses a sponge and brush to remove any further dust from around the edges, before dropping water through again to flush out any remaining grime.

She posted the clip with the caption: ‘Omg so happy to finally get the radiator cover off, look how dirty it was.’

In her comments, she added: ‘This house is about 15 years old we have lived her for three years rented out, please don’t judge. All I’m doing is trying to make our home a cleaner place.

‘Took about an hour to do it all plus the cleaning everything afterwards. Worth it though.’

Viewers were impressed with the clean, with one writing: ‘Makes me wanna do mine,’ while another said: ‘Need to do this so bad’.

A third added: Omg I had to clean mine straight after this, thank you,’ while a fourth said: ‘Wait. The sides come off? I take the tops off but this changes everything.’
