What’s better than a birthday bunny?

Dolly Parton recreated her iconic October 1978 Playboy cover to celebrate her husband Carl Thomas Dean’s 79th birthday.

“Hey. Today’s July 20. It’s my husband Carl’s birthday, and you’re probably wondering why I’m dressed like this. Well, it’s for my husband’s birthday,” the “Jolene” singer, 75, said in a video posted to Twitter Tuesday.

Parton slipped into a tight black bustier and bunny ears for the occasion. She also threw on a sparkly pink bow tie with matching cuffs, mirroring her exact look from the famous shoot.

“Remember sometime back I said I was going to pose on Playboy magazine when I’m 75? Well, I’m 75, and they don’t have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover with Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy,” she said. “He still thinks I’m a hot chick after 57 years, and I’m not going to try and talk him out of that.”

Parton then surprised Dean with a framed photo of the “old new Dolly” beside her original Playboy cover while singing to him in the sexy outfit.

“In the first one … I was kind of a little butterball in that one. Well, I’m string cheese now, but he’ll probably think I’m cream cheese, I hope,” she said with a wink.

The country superstar ended her video by saying that she thinks Playboy should pay her for her new photo shoot and asking fans if they agreed.

Parton became the first country singer to pose on the cover of Playboy — under the condition that she did not have to get naked for the shoot.

“I have been asked, back in the day, but that was so totally not me. I would never do that,” she told Chicago’s US99 radio station in 2011. “But that was a good article they ran in there, and it was just a fun thing to do.”

She added, “That was just another way I was trying to market myself, at that time, to kinda get in the mainstream.”

Parton and Dean have been married since May 1966.
