‘I’m 72 but but look ‘decades younger’ thanks to a 3-minute beauty hack’

A 72-year-old has been flooded with compliments after spilling the three-minute beauty routine that has helped her turn back the clocks and preserve her youthfulness.

The tip comes from Dr. Joyce Dermatologist’s mother-in-law, who has made several appearances on TikTok, where fans gush over her glowing skin.

Since she began divulging her own advice on the platform, Dr. Joyce has gained a 632k-strong army of followers who rely on her expertise to improve their looks.

When the expert introduced her mother-in-law to the online community the senior quickly became a source of inspiration for beauty fans.

The elderly woman eventually took to TikTok to share her pearls of wisdom after one fan wrote to Dr. Joyce: “I’m begging on my knees, please spill her anti-aging secret.”

In the viral clip, Dr Joyce reintroduces the senior to her followers, saying: “I’m back with my almost 73-year-old Umma, this is my mother-in-law.

Turning to her family members, she then asks: “Other than your skincare products and your diet […] are there other things that you’ve done that you think help your skin age so beautifully?”

The mother-in-law responds: “I learned it from my mother, and since I was like 20 years old, I always – after washing my face at night – I used to use [generous amounts of] massage cream [to] massage my face [for] three minutes.”

She admitted growing tired of the routine after she turned 60, but still firmly believes it helped preserve her glowing skin into old age.

Offering viewers a brief demonstration of the routine, the woman began motioning massage strokes toward the outer corners of the face.

“She is so BEAUTIFUL DEAR LORD,” exclaimed one viewer in the comments.

“I wish she had her own account,” penned a second commentator. “I would follow her and learn from her tips.”

The internet is rife with youth-preserving routines but only a few are supported by concrete scientific evidence. Whether or not facial massages can combat signs of aging has yet to be confirmed.

Many senior women on TikTok, however, credit the method for looking decades younger than their age.

Another clip posted on Dr. Joyce’s adds weight to these claims as it documents how her umma’s face from the age of 26 till the present day when she routinely performed facial massages.

Viewers rushed to the comments to marvel at the woman’s beauty, with one pointing out: “I don’t see any ageing, she looks gorgeous at all ages.”

“She stopped ageing at 35,” wrote another commentator.
