Gillian McKeith rose to fame as a nutritionist on the Channel 4 show You Are What You Eat in 2007 where she diagnosed the bodily malfunctions of her patients by studying their stool samples.
The acclaimed nutritionist went onto become the star of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2010 with her famous “fainting” episode which became one of the most talked-about moments in TV history.
The 61 year old, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, lives in London with her husband, Howard Magaziner, and the couple share daughters Skylar, 26, and 21 year old Afton.
Who is Gillian married to?
Gillian met husband Howard Magaziner, 60, in Edinburgh where he spent a year studying.
The holistic nutritionist, from Perth, Scotland, was also a student the University of Edinburgh and obtained a degree in linguistics in 1981 before moving to the US to work in marketing and international business.
The American lawyer ran a chain of health food shops in the US and Gillian became involved in running the business.
What does Skylar do?
Gillian’s eldest daughter Skylar is a consultant in the immigration team at Mackrell Solicitors in London and joined the firm in January 2019.
She has completed a Legal Practice Course with Distinction at the University of Westminster and obtained a Bachelor of Laws from BPP University Law School.
Skylar also has an TikTok account and has garnered 987 followers with clips featuring her mum.
The 26 year old has revealed that she has a child after describing how she welcomed her little one in hospital with pain relief after originally planning a natural home birth.
Skylar has also made hilarious videos featuring her mum Gillian and referenced her “fainting” incident on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity in which she had to go into school following the TV moment.
The mum of one has also described how the diet expert told her that she was “too pretty” to go to law school along with a clip of the nutritionist asking her for a “poo sample”.
Who is her daughter Afton?
The 21 year old studied musical theatre at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London which was attended by famous alumni including Sharon Osbourne, Naomi Campbell and Russell Brand.
Afton lived in France when she was 10 and attended the prestigious Cours Florent French Performing Arts School in Paris.
The actress is fluent in French and trained as a yoga instructor in Southern Spain as well as a qualifying as a personal trainer.
Afton now lives in Beverley Hills, Los Angeles, and regularly shares modelling snaps to her 41,600 Instagram followers.
The brunette beauty also has a TikTok account and revealed how Brooklyn Beckham is the “most famous person” to block her on Instagram.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, who is now engaged to Nicola Peltz, reportedly enjoyed a brief romance with the youngest daughter of nutritionist Gillian McKeith in 2017.
Afton attended school with Brooklyn and Guy Richie’s son, Rocco, but their romance didn’t last long.
A source told Daily Star Online: "The romance didn’t last too long but Afton definitely grew feelings for Brooklyn."
Despite being devastated by the split, a then 17 year old Afton said: "I’m better off without him. I’m fine."
She added that she got to meet Brooklyn's famous parents during their brief time together, saying: "I got to meet his parents and they are very nice. Victoria is very protective over him."
Her mother appeared to confirm the pair's fling and split while at a party with her daughter.
When Afton was asked if she missed Brooklyn, mother Gillian answered: "No, she doesn’t. I’m actually glad he’s gone. No boyfriends now until she is 25."
